Blue Wren Cafe is a fun quirky oasis. Good German sausages, though mine could have used more sauce. Good pizza. Green and lush with plenty of birds and activities to keep the kids amused. Even chess,

Wonderful farmstay! Walked through all the beautiful handmade pottery at reception. We went to drive over the creek to get to The Farmhouse in our small car (arriving just after a night of heavy rainfall) and became bogged. We are very grateful for all the staff and guests who helped us out. A big thank you to them all! Lovely room, wish we had stayed for more than one night to enjoy more! I’d suggest a minimum two night stay. We ate some yummy pizza and salad at the cafe for dinner and the waiter took great care of us. Watch out for kangaroos on the dirt road driving in/out (especially at dawn or dusk), luckily we managed to avoid them.

Had the most refreshing time here. Kids got to feed the animals, go for bush walks, learn how to make pottery, swim in the pool, jump on the trampoline and run around in the fresh air. Such a healthy way to spend their holiday instead of on screens. The service was warm and welcoming and the food at the cafe was great.

Unfortunately, we cannot recommend the food or the service at the café. The milkshakes took at least 20 mins even though only 2 other customers were there at the time. The milkshakes comprised a glass of skim milk, frothed up a little, with a small drizzle of flavoring down one side of the glass. We then had to remind staff and wait more minutes for our slice of cake. It might be that Covid has reduced staff availability but it is not a good experience when you are hungry and thirsty......

Our 2nd visit and it didn't disappoint. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and wood fired pizza's are just yummy. Great to see everything coming back after the drought.

Such a friendly place! Very dog friendly (though our dog was not accustomed to farm animals), beautiful area of bush with so many marked bushwalks to explore, and our kids loved playing with clay

Had dinner and breakfast here recently. The German meal was quite reasonably priced and very German! The big breakfast was amazing! With home-made bread, it was very filling and quite delicious.
