Overpriced, Unavailable Items and Poor Service

Seated awkwardly at a cramped round table for four. Several items I asked for from the menu weren’t available. When we requested utensils, a miserable waiter pointed dismissively behind another diner. My $23 beef lasagna was tiny, oily, and tasteless, with two bites of salad and a couple of feta chunks. After 46 years in the food industry, I can say—this was one of the worst experiences. Won’t return.

Amazing food. Have been there a couple of times. Lots of pastry, dine in or takeaway. All home-made. Reasonable price. Highly recommend their cakes! You will crave for more! There's also lots of vegetarian options.

100% fantastic homemade pastries and delicious coffee. If you visit with another then I'd suggest sharing a couple baked goods to maximise your ex experience. Visited twice for coffee and once for lunch, I can vouch for the burgundy beef pie and my fav: the sausage roll. Oh, tasted the gluten-free orange almond cake so can vouch for that too.

If you're popping by Flinders and looking for a meal this is a great place to get a sandwich or a meat pie. Had the sausage rolls ($6) and the steak sandwich ($21) and both didn't disappoint. Rustic place with a small backyard dining area. Definitely family friendly.

had a yummy iced latte and buttermilk choccy cake here >~> tried a bite of the pumpkin pesto sandwich from my parents and that was delicious as well

Excellent coffee. Also had the home made fruit toast...wonderful. Service was excellent. Vege options for lunch look amazing...veg curry, veg lasagne, soups etc. Need to come back for lunch.
