hi!! I went to this camp about a week ago and I just wanna say DO NOT LISTEN TO THOSE BAD REVIEWS!!! The food was AMAZING !! (As a picky eater personally) and The activities were soo thrilling especially the giant swing ! The cabins were amazing and such kind staff !! we got to stay up till around 11pm instead of the usual 9pm. This camp really highlights student voice! Might be one of my favorite camps I went to yet! So, if you’re going to this camp soon and you’re afraid because of the bad reviews, don’t, because I was afraid as well before and it honestly just shocked me how good this place was. Would go again.

I just recently went to Camp Rumbug, and it was amazing! The staff — Tanya, Luke, Sira, Jason, Jade, Owen, and all the others — made sure we had everything we needed and definitely didn’t disappoint.

The only thing that was a bit annoying was that there were no locks on the toilets or showers, but Tayna mentioned they’ll be installing them soon.

Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be coming back!

This place is good. One thing I HATED so much about this camp was the showers having no locks. I had a shower and people kept going in our room and opening the showers. I also had another person in my room purposefully open the shower door more than 4 times. Install locks to the shower doors. Overall, this place isn’t bad

Pros:
-Loved the raft challenge and canoeing
-Liked the mud run
Giant swing was scary at start by falling but it was fun swinging and i would definitely do it again.
Most of the activities were fun and good view from giant swing
Cons:
-Same food (bruh) and could not pick the meals you wanted on the menu but you get served of what you get.
-The hills and mountains are so steep, that you could fall over and there are long walks to the activity destinations.
Overall, it was decent, respectable camp.

Our students loved their time at camp and throughly enjoyed their experience. What child does not enjoy the opportunity to jump in to puddles, bond together through team activities, and challenge themselves with zip lines, climbing and archery? All staff were very helpful and kitchen staff worked very hard to accommodate the different dietary requirements.

I went to camp Rumbug and the activities are fun and the workers are kind and supportive. But every meal had at least one hair in it! The food sucked while the activities were fun. Thank you to all those kind supportive worker’s they make everything fun and I love the songs you sing for fun and sometimes to make the big journeys across the giant hill shorter. And please stop putting hair in the food!
