What a magical place, on top of the world. Or 'in the sky' as our daughter described it. It was the perfect place for our family to come together over the holidays. The home is very well equipped with good quality fittings and furnishings. The kitchen has everything you need to cook up any type of meal, from a casual BBQ to a fine dining meal. The rooms are spacious and all have lovely views of the area.

The property is well located to explore the surrounding hinterland, and is only a short drive to the beach. We felt so lucky to have had the opportunity to experience such a special place. You won't regret it!

Absolutely breathtaking! This weekend home exceeded all expectations. The views over the Sunshine Coast hinterland were mesmerizing, especially at sunrise and sunset. The property is beautifully maintained, clean, and has all the comforts you could need. Sitting on the veranda with a cup of coffee, overlooking the rolling hills and lush greenery, was pure bliss. It’s the perfect place for a peaceful getaway, and I couldn’t recommend it more. We’re already planning our next visit. Five stars all the way!

We recently stayed at Peteichor Estate in Maleny, and it was nothing short of a magical experience! The estate offers breathtaking views of the Glass House Mountains and the coastline, making it the perfect secluded escape.

We also opted for the luxury picnic package, and it was worth every penny.

The location is also ideal for a romantic getaway or even a family getaway, the sunrise and sunset is mind blowing beautiful.

Highly recommend this hidden gem for anyone looking to disconnect and recharge!

My son recently had his wedding here at Petrichor Estate. It's one of the best locations on the Sunny Coast for 360 deg views, absolutely stunning🤩
The house is very nice and has everything you need for your stay. Wasn't a problem for us being in July, but in summer☀️ it could be an issue if you can't sleep without air-conditioning ...as there isn't any at all 😯

BRIDES - DO NOT BOOK FOR YOUR PHOTOSHOOT LOCATION!!!

I am deeply disappointed with the service provided by this venue on my wedding day. Despite booking and paying in advance for a sunset photo session, our photographer, Luke Middlemiss’s Photography, confirmed with the property manager on the morning of the shoot that everything was set. We sat in the wedding car for 10-15 minutes waiting for someone to open the gate to let us in... Luke and Ed (videographer from Blue Vale Films) called at least a dozen times each for the owner/manager to answer their phone. As a result, we missed out on capturing this special moment. With the sun setting we had to drive along the road until we found somewhere 'picturesque' for our wedding photos.

It has broken my heart because we travelled 3 hours to have a hinterland wedding with the mountains and open air in the background, now not one of our photos has that because of this business.

I had contacted the property after the wedding requesting my refund of the $250 booking cost but had to chase them up several times before even receiving an answer. Although we eventually received a refund after I had asked for it, they never offered it, and there was no apology for the inconvenience or the impact on our wedding day.

It is unfortunate because my photographer, Luke who is one of the best in the wedding photography industry said he had it happen to him with another couple before and that we weren't the only ones that left with disappointment. This is very unacceptable and unprofessional on the property's behalf.

We were lucky that Luke and Ed captured our portraits beautifully with the background we had. We highly recommend them both! They work incredibly together. They both remained calm in the situation which helped a lot with our strong feelings. We also recommend Wheels to Weddings who graciously allowed us extra time free of charge for the inconvenience the property gave us.

This shouldn't happen to people on the most important day of their lives, so please, do yourselves a favor and look elsewhere so you don't experience the same heartbreak as we did.

What an absolutely stunning property .. truly special place up in the clouds. All the little extras were a lovely surprise, bubbles, chocolate, chippies & more. Everything has been thought to make your stay memorable. Highly recommend a stay at Petrichor!

SPECTACULAR!

House perched on top of a hill with views to the ocean, Glass House Mountains and surrounding farmlands. This magical house has everything you could need for a get away. Our dogs had an amazing time exploring and meeting the very friendly curious cows. Esmail (the host) is very friendly and welcoming. The surprising touches were a treat. Great photo opportunities no matter the weather. We would love to come back.
