We were fortunate enough to honeymoon here 3 years ago and have returned for our anniversary. What a delight on our return. The accomodation is refreshed and luxurious. Staff are accomodating, professional and so warm and welcoming. The environment and grounds as always so relaxing and picturesque (the once gravel driveway is now fully sealed with concrete making for a far improved experience). Dinner however has been the highlight of our stay, it was an absolute pleasure to dine here with chef Alex as our host, his talents and passion for food are second to none. We have never experienced such deliciously prepared salmon (a true highlight of our dining experience) however our entire meal from start to finish could not be faulted, it is clear great care and consideration are taken in the planning and preparation of the meals here. Thank you once again to your whole team, it truly has been such a pleasure and we so look forward to returning for our next visit.

Magnificent ambiance … even as you drive into the grounds, it is impressive! I was one of a small group to enjoy a tasting meal experience last night at Pethers restaurant and it completely exceeded my expectations. The food prepared by chef Alex was simply world class. The staff showed care and pride in their menu and ensured an evening to remember… thank you Paul, Madonna, Alex and staff, you have developed a winning formula.

My wife and I recently had our wedding at Pethers and everything was beyond perfect. Paul and the staff were very accommodating and an absolute pleasure to interact with. Everyone at Pethers went above and beyond to make sure that our day was so special. The food was visually incredible and tasted amazing. The rooms are always a treat to stay in, with such a beautiful view of the rainforest. Everything about the day was perfect and the views and venue really speak for themselves. We can't thank Paul and the team at Pethers enough for everything!

Breathtaking location, incredible cabins. The breakfast each morning was delicious. The wildlife is stunning (all sorts of birds, pademelons). All the facilities worked great - high quality fittings. Living right up against the rainforest is an unforgettable experience. Very helpful and attentive staff. Restaurants nearby are awesome. What a gem!

Stunning rainforest tranquility, beautiful scenery and surrounds. Took my elderly mother for 2 nights, she is on a wheelie walker with mobility issues. This review is more for those with mobility issues who need to book a disability room. They had one 'disability room' which was reasonably close to the restaurant. The bed (mattress) was about 4-5 inches too high so i had to physically lift her legs in and out of bed and assist her every time she got in or out of bed as she could not manage that on her own. The lounge chairs were far too low for her to sit on. Whilst they had a very nice spa bath in the room there was a small step so for anyone in a wheelchair it would not be possible to navigate. The bathroom was very well appointed, large, higher raised toilet, good shower with a fold down seat. However, no storage except a very small glass shelf.
The breakfast hamper -first morning average at best, second morning was very disappointing, when we finally did get it one hour late it contained a small bottle of juice each and a cold bagel with small tub of cheese!. The restaurant had a great ambiance but food average. Thought our treehouse needed a makeover, very basic inclusions. For the money, expected more.

We dined at Pethers for their Spring set course menu - truly delicious and we loved everything we had. You must try the avocado dessert - so well balanced and captures this mountain beautifully. Well done team ❤️?♥️

On our second visit, we were once again blown away by the amazing quality and creativity that chef Alex brings to the table. Every dish was a masterpiece, thoughtfully prepared, and so full of flavour. Chef Alex truly elevates the dining experience here. Thank you to the team for another unforgettable meal!

Accomodation and location is amazing. Nice touch to include Champagne on arrival. Room was very comfortable and luxurious with peaceful rainforest outlook especially on a rainy weekend. Dined in the restaurant with exceptional food and service catering to all dietary requirements. Avocado dessert was a highlight with all courses excellent, great chef!

Had a wedding anniversary meal here - absolutely delicious. Lots of thought has gone into the menu and each dish was beautifully prepared and served. Lovely, relaxed and welcoming service too with local wines. Thank you for a lovely evenin.
