Decent place for lunch/afternoon tea. Food is quite good. I love pretzels so was so happy to find them here! Freshly baked and fluffy, it was delicious with mustard which came with buying the pretzel by itself.

There's a water station available and much welcomed, but I wished they provided at least one cup per family so we can drink the water back at our tables.

I appreciate that the time's are tough (challenging economic conditions) and it's trickier than ever keeping businesses open.

There's also a small gift shop here and it was good to pop in after lunch and browse all the cool trinkets sold here.

Note: This restaurant is run separately from the rest of Perisher resort, and the EPIC pass discounts are not applicable here.

Whilst the Mid Station is a ‘convenient’ place to stop and rest eat and drink, the owner…let’s just say is the opposite of “Mr Happy”… seems to be on the lookout for anyone throughout his restaurant who might be breaking his rules on consumption of let’s say home brought snacks for little children … or anyone else that has purchased something from this place but also might bring a little snack in their back pack ….thats not purchased …. Menu prices are ridiculously high as are drinks. So … Mr Happy, if you could just get that monkey off your back and be nice for once you might get a better review

Tasty food, easy to get to from multiple chair lifts and t-bars, and great hot chocolates!
Not cheap, as expected, but at least the food is quite good!

Good food and coffee. Food highly overpriced. Not unexpected in Perisher, but sky high this year, feel like they are reeming you more than ever.

Just another reason to bring your own food and snacks.

Large coffee is $9, regular is $8. For that you don't even get a lid on your coffee cup.

This Friday, my friends and I had a very disappointing experience at Mid Perisher restaurant/bar. During lunch, we decided to rest and have a meal there. While waiting to order, we gave the kids some snacks. A staff member approached us, saying we couldn’t eat our own food. We clarified that only the kids were having snacks while we were about to order lunch.

To our shock, the same person, who turned out to be the owner, refused to serve us because of the kids' snacks. Despite our attempts to explain, he wouldn’t listen. There was no sign stating "no outside food allowed." The owner rudely threw our food that my friend was about to pay for in the bin, leaving the kids without lunch. His behavior was incredibly rude and unprofessional.
Unfortunately, we had to leave and will not be returning.

Most overpriced place on the mountain, poor qualtiy food for 4x the price and poorly advertised happy hours not stating specific sizes only apply. However best service from kitchen and cafe staff who are kind and great at what they do.

We came to smiggs diggs with a school group and got injured so we had to sit out. The only semi-comfortable place to sit was within the cafe. We arrived at 8am and there were only about 3 people sitting down. My friend and I sat down at an empty table and charged our phones for a 7 hour bus ride home. An older blonde lady working at the cafe decided to come over 5 minutes after we arrived and rudely tell us that if we didn’t buy a ridiculously expensive drink we couldn’t use “her” power. She kept glaring at us until we bought something and finally when we did, my chai latte was lukewarm and flavourless.

But playlist was fire
