We arrived and were a bit dismayed because it looked like a rectangle, with road on two sides, asphalt driveway with car spaces on 2 sides, and just doors and tiny bathroom windows. Open the door ... and there's a little oasis on the other side of the room. All rooms open onto a swimming pool, and a small grassy area with a gazebo. There are some outdoor tables and chairs up one end of the pool, outside the on site restaurant. The room wasn't large, but plenty big enough, clean, with table and chairs, bench space, microwave, toaster and plates and cutlery. And the most comfortable recliner chair! We didn't try the restaurant.

A good little country town stop off. It has good food but the restaurant is only open half the week unless you have a sizable booking. The rooms are cleaned well . Rooms come with a microwave, a good selection of dinnerware, glasses

Excellent venue. Stayed for a night on a move between Geelong and cairns. Really nice courtyard and pool area, loved that it backed right on to our rooms. Room service dinner was superb. The main reception lady was super nice and helpful. Would highly recommend this motel for future travellers.

Booked this due to the restaurant looking good - not open the night we stayed so that was a bust. Room we had smelt slightly of cigarette smoke - unable to use the single bed as it was strongest there. Sandwiched between FIFO type road workers - made parking difficult. Also we got to listen to them having really loud phone and other conversations from about 5:30 am until they finally left for work (almost an hour later) - not necessarily the owner's fault but he asked for our consideration for them as the one next to us was on night shift so it should be able to go both ways.
Then the cleaner decided to clean our room at about 8am - told to go away but was back within the hour. "Sorry, sorry" just doesn't cut it as booking out time is not until 10:00 am.
Main bed OK but all pillows are like bags of concrete. Towels very small and thin. shower looks good and very modern, although the shower head was a bit tired and the temperature varied constantly. The shower also managed to flood the bathroom floor so had to use towels as bathmats - lucky we didn't want more than 1 shower each. We will stay elsewhere in future.

Hidden gem without a doubt. Amazing meals , super comfy bed , beautifully updated new bathrooms and super fast wifi. And great old fashioned country service with a smile and a friendly chat. Couldn't have been better. Oh and very reasonably priced too ! If I'm travelling through Here again this place will definitely be my 1st choice.

Stayed for 2 nights really enjoyed our stay, very friendly 5* service from the hosts ,delicious dinner and breakfast steak was cooked to perfection, room service is amazing, I loved how our room backed onto the pool and courtyard.

This is a great motel, very quite. The rooms are spacious & very clean, close to town as well. The staff are terrific, very helpful & friendly. The rooms have to exits, one to the parking & the another which goes out to pool area & restaurant. The meals at the restaurant are great, fast efficient service & good food. This is an ideal motel to stay due to being away from the Main Street, would highly recommend & it’s also a busy motel.
