Wonderful area.
Got a park for the kids.
Restrooms.
BBQ areas.
I went to de stress, chill out, grounding on the grass and reconnect with nature.
I felt great after just 30 minutes taking it all in.
Lot of people out walking dogs on leads.
Nice mix of young and old enjoying life.

The new playground at Pelican Park is pretty cool. My kids had a great time there. It was very busy, but with 2 carparks and another close by, there seemed to be plenty of parking. Nice and close to the water, big open spaces, and the coastal walkway.

It could get a bit breezy there, but today we had a gentle breeze and it was lovely.

Awesome park.
My grandson loves it here.
He's 2 and a half and could go on nearly everything😍
Fully fenced with a childsafe gate,most of the playground is shaded and the ground is sand so no nasty falls😊
Bbqs,toilets,bubblers and lots of shaded picnic tables.
Highly recommended.

Little park on the foreshore of the bay.

Great place for families to stop and have a lunch next to the water.

Heaps of space and facilities available.

Trees give you some shade but on a hot day with a little breeze blowing over the water it's great.

Well its a lovely area...but the showers are COLD...and the toilets are metal with NO toilet seat..not nice...the park is kept clean and its a very popular area for people parking thier fishing trailers...people walking ....people walking thier DOGS..and the WATER JUMPING CASTEL...like GRAND CENTERAL STATION... some times...NEEDS IMPOVEMENT...because of its popularity... and a
UNDER COVER BARBUE AREAS .....and a kids (FENCED) PLAY GROUND...so have a LOOK at the photos i have posted and MAKE YOUR OWN MIND UP ..thank you for reading this post as well..

We arrived at the park with my Wife and 2 boys. It was the weekend of the KITE Festival, it was amazing. The park is right on the beach ocean view. If you have time off and simply wish to relax, smell.the ocean breeze, maybe have a picnic, go to pelican park.

My kids loved being so close to the water and being able to play. They that the inflatable obstacle course was the coolest. Shade and bbqs are handy, beach surf is manageable with small children.
