Staff lovely, grass powered sites neat. However for $84 a night, the amenity block is in disrepair (owners did mention they are renovating) only one toilet and shower in each. The waste dump full or blocked. Long way out of time. Very overpriced for what you get.

Beautiful..clean .. great location.. they opened up for us thank you so much..the room had a gorgeous shower great water flow very spacious and good hot n cold settings... our room had a massive bed and comfortable for us plenty of luxurious pillows ... washing machine and drier a trough .. 2 TV's for us lazy people under cover parking ... the room was big enough to swing an elephant but we didn't have an elephant so can't prove it ... for us the stay was beautiful

This park advertises sites for one person. They then add for second person and service dog in my case. $83 a night. Currently under renovations, so main amenities are not operational and lower amenities in poor condition. One toilet and shower for women, same for men's. Dump pit was either blocked or full. Park is located out of themain town. Definitely not value for money, wouldn't recommend.

While the majority of reviews are for the cabins, this review is based a powered caravan site.
I booked here by mistake. Will be more cautious as we keep travelling. $80 for riverside and $69 for behind cabins. We chose the grassed area as $80 was ridiculous. Apparently, they had 20mm of rain the night before, and the grassed area was like walking on a swamp. They must have known this and should have offered riverside for the same price. Even $69 was overpriced. Would not stay here again. 1 star.

I couldn’t recommend pelican caravan park enough. The best, maintained park I’ve been, with very thoughtful amenities in common area. We had to cancel our booking last min last year due to medical emergency. They were so accommodating with my last minute request, so I decided I have to visit them again this year. I was NOT disappointed. We had the river view cabin, newly renovated. Super clean, and fully equipped. We only had 2 nights there and it wasn’t enough at all. I want to thank Sharon personally for being so kind and welcoming every time I stepped in the office. I would love to be there again…and again!

Loved our stay at Pelican Caravan Park. The owners and staff were just so lovely and very accommodating. We loved the stunning location and how it was not crowded. Dog friendly was also a bonus! We look forward to returning in the near future.

Open door to van I got headach from strong smell of poison inside out walls Saturated with the smell, the carpet lounge . Why would spray poison in fridge which took me 3 goes to get smell out.|Cleanen all surfaces sink etc too|All utensils dishes etc.||Had to put a towel on lounge to sit.|I didn't sleep, the smell, took me 2 hours to clean.||Non of the windows had locks|It was awful.||No shops around lived on baked beans. 10 min taxi to and from bus terminals cost 50 their explanation it was the weekend no one charges 50 for a 10 min drive.||The outside walls Saturated too as I open windows and door to air out place you can smell it.||I arrived near 4am no one around to call

We stayed in the oystercatcher cabin, which was great. Practically brand new, everything was clean and immaculate. The views from the private balcony were fantastic. Definitely will come back again. It was very quiet when we were there which added to our enjoyment so can’t really comment about what its like there during summer or high season.
