It was so exciting to find out about night market here in Mackay but Felt disappointed after arriving here. If you are from a big city, don’t expect too much as there’s only very limited selection of food trucks and stalls in the market. However, if you have nothing else to do and appreciate a bit of crowd, noise and see some night life happening in a small town, definitely pay a visit. It happens every 2nd Friday of the month (March to December) in Mackay.

Nice old building. Would be a great venue for a restaurant / function centre. Markets are ok, but the same old same old stuff.... At least some stall holders do now accept EFTPOS transactions.

As a visitor to Mackay for the weekend, I was looking forward to these markets.
When I arrived, it was closed & no signage to indicate what happened. Very misleading. Management should update hours on Google.
