Room was spacious, clean and had tv/microwave, tea coffee and biscuits. Bed was comfortable though blanket was a bit itchy. Reception were friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place when staying in Canberra. Price was very reasonable.

VERY OLD and dated. Only supplied with 2 soap cakes for 3 nights.
Had to get a replacement kettle before we could even try to sit down and relax with a cuppa.
Very high step into room.
Not much space to move around the room.
Large step into the dirty and dated shower.
Toilet extremely difficult to get up from.
Didn't think that the service was all that terrific.
I personally felt more like a burden to the owners than a welcome quest.
Room was not clean.
Bed way too soft and uncomfortable .
Only one chair in a room that sleeps 3, Main bed was advertised as a queen but it was only a double and sheet wasn't completely clean.
TV not tuned properly.
Not at all a place I would recommend to anyone
NEVER AGAIN.
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY PEOPLE.

Stayed a week. Room got cleaned daily with my clothes being put in the bed under the blankets. See pics. Only analogue channel's, chair had stains on it. But reverse cycle air conditioning works well?

Not bad for the price. Room and bathroom was clean and nice, Room 1 a/c unit was an old window unit but functioning until a light storm cut the power, so next morning no power beside some from solar but not enough to run any appliances. Can hear the room nextdoor, walking, running water and beeping and a burn in the carpet from someone dropping the iron that was in the room

A bit run down for the price but the room & ensuite were spotless. I was annoyed that although we were only staying for 2 nights that our room was entered and the towels changed. Unnecessary and a bit creepy.

3 bedlamps, all missing bulbs. Desk lamp doesn't work. Holes in vanity unit, glass missing. Reverse cycle AC heater doesn't work. Very cheap TV, controller held together with tape. No hot water in the morning. No cutlery except for 2 tsps. No shampoo provided. We won't be back

Came for the weekend in Canberra, had to stay close to where I was gonna attend events being held. Upon close inspection I had a tiny visitor [baby cockroach], he was chill and was alone. Microwave Broke when trying to reheat pizza. Bed was comfy though. Shower head was broken and no soap holder. Very clean though. Honest thoughts on this place, I would probably recommend staying elsewhere but for what its worth, it wasn't that bad.

Stayed 30/9/22 to 4/10/2022 Room 11 .... the shower kept a fast drip going from the shower head due to the tap washers being in poor condition. When the plastic shower screen was left open this splashed onto the bathroom floor - and it was a very wet floor that I had to dry down with paper. We didn't have a shower on last day, as we were not game to use the shower taps with the faulty washers .. they might disintegrate totally.||Floor creaked and there was no soap holder in the shower. Room was not serviced on at least two days of our four and I had to go and ask for fresh towels on one day. The air con was noisy but at least a heater was provided. I asked for compensation but got no reply at 8 Oct.
