Hard to find any essential negatives. Great location, We stayed in an executive room- clean, well appointed, foxtel, massive TV, and a great view overlooking a neighbouring hotel pool. Only non essential negative was the rooftop pool. Fantastic outlook over the city and water with BBQ facilities, but the water was absolutely freezing cold. Solar heating to take advantage of Cairns tropical climate would be the icing on the cake to use all the facilities this hotel offers all year round. Will return.

Located near the corporate business centre City Quays was the perfect location for work, but also an easy walk to the esplanade in the evening or on weekends. The executive one bedroom was spacious and had a large balcony with glimpses of the ocean. I would recommend spending the couple of extra dollars to stay in a one bedroom. Cleanliness was second to none and emptying the bins, bed making and topping up amenities were attended to daily. The consistency of these daily attendances and weekly room cleans was probably the best I've even seen - EXCELLENT staff. The front office staff were helpful and pleasant - nothing seemed too much trouble. We were able to leave our bags in reception when we arrived until check-in and promptly received a text once our room was ready. Our room had the shower over the bath and this may present a problem for anyone with mobility issues, but was fine for us. The WIFI was upgraded during our stay and connection seemed secure and reasonably fast. The pool was fairly basic, but had a couple of chairs to lie around on and the BBQ area was always clean. We stayed for three weeks, so the in-room laundry was very convenient. I would definitely stay here again.

This was a fine hotel particularly for the price point. The staff was always friendly and let me store my bags during the day before check in and after check out. Rooms were clean with free water bottles. Bed was comfortable but the blanket was just a top sheet. I would stay again

Good place to stay convenient location. The glassware on the glass shelf was dusty but a quick rinse and was all good. Fairly quiet location, pity the room was accessed via 2 internal doors and were noisy upon closing, the room next door was not too quiet when slamming the doors at 5am in the morning.

The pillows were great and bed very comfortable…nice that there was only a sheet too as no need for doona in TNQ. Nice, neat room, excellent pool area with bbq facilities and seating area. In a good location which was close to Marina etc||Safe car park!

Rooms were clean and comfortable. I love the fact that you can cook your own meals in your room, but I would have loved to have breakfast served in the facility. Just so you know, they require a $ 100 refundable deposit, which would be held until you check out. Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay there.

In the heart of town. Walk to everywhere. Hotel was clean and staff courteous. I recommend the executive rooms with modern upgraded. I stayed in room 408 which overlooks a beautiful pool which lights up overnight and the lights of the casino add to the view whilst having a few drinks on the good sized balcony. Absolute massive TV with Foxtel and internet. Rooftop pool with views of the ocean and BBQ facilities to use as well. We were even gifted a lovely box of chocolates on Xmas day by management. Will be back at Easter and I have already booked this hotel.
