Stayed 2 nights, and definite recommendation from me. I think they had 3 different cottages available. We had the 2 bedroom which is set up to take 5/6 people. good heating, very clean ameniities and a lovely view of Mt Roland from the front door. Situated about 4 kms out of Sheffield, just off the road to Gowrie Park. You woul need your own transport to get there so no good for those travelling by bus. Peaceful farm location.

We were looking for good value self contained accommodation to stay at while we attended to maintenance issues at a nearby property we own.... little did we know what a lovely location it was in... Surrounded by a pleasant cottage garden there is a view over the valley and across to the stunningly picturesque. Spent a pleasant evening sitting in the outdoor chairs drinking wine and soaking up the view. The accommodation is simple but well appointed with all the various kitchen pots/ pans etc, stove, microwave, fridge/freezer etc. (there only additional things that would have been good was some salt and pepper and some olive oil- because those things are annoying to bring if you are just staying a couple of days). The cottage is conveniently located a few minutes out of Sheffield and just off the main road to Cradle Mountain ( Great if you just want a day trip to cradle mountain - well recommended compared to over-priced average accommodation I have experienced up there)

Paradise cottage is situated in a nice location amidst lush green pastures with cows grazing nearby. The main attractions such as cradle mountain and the maracoopa caves are within a short distance and therefore easily accessible. The house itself has all amenities to cook your own meals. The rooms are nice and large and warm! The toilet could perhaps be improved.

This is one of my old favourites top of the hill overlooking Mt Rowland and close to Sheffield , a good base camp for everything in that corner of Tassie. The cottages are very clean and well appointed and the host Mick is very helpfull

Great stay. Beautiful location on high overlooking Mt. Rowland. Well appointed with great attention to detail. Very clean, cosy and friendly. Could not recommend this place highly enough. Would definitely stay here again!

Magic spot. Great views. Just 4 km outside Sheffield. Our only mistake was that we should have stayed longer.
