This was not as advertised - there is no second bedroom - it is a screened off room with no door. The kitchen facilities are a bit of a stretch - one Kmart hot plate is incapable of feeding 4 people. You have to wash up in the laundry sink. The doors do not lock properly either. This is a very rudimentary accomodation. It was very clean but not for us. The owners or whomever is running it live upstairs- which is fine but I felt watched over and come around to the kitchen whilst we were washing the dishes, fortunately we were dressed and not in our night wear. They texted to ask if everything was alright as I was gone for the day and part of the night. Which is probably great but I felt a bit like an unruly teenager. The tv is so small - kind of the size of a laptop screen with a big grey streak on it - we couldn’t watch it. We asked for a refund as we moved but was told unless they filled it they wouldn’t refund it. Unless you are happy with a camp type accomodation don’t go there.

The description and photos on the website are very selective and do not accurately reflect what this accommodation is like. We were very disappointed with our stay in the Kadek suite.

Outside the suite is quite untidy, there was lots of dusty stuff stored in the carport.

Inside, we were surprised to learn that the second "bedroom" was not actually a proper room but a section of the main room that had been partitioned off. The bathroom is an ensuite off the main bedroom, so anyone staying in the second bedroom has to access it either via the main bedroom or by going outside and back in another door.

The kitchenette is outdoors and consists of a sink, microwave, kettle and a plug-in hot plate. There's not a lot of food prep space. We didn't use the pots and pans as the inside of the cupboards did not look very clean. The fridge is indoors so it can be a bit of back and forth if you are cooking a meal and need ingredients from the fridge.

Brian was lovely and friendly but that's probably the only real positive about this property. After staying here I sincerely doubt that all of the 4 and 5 star reviews are genuine.

The accommodation might be ok for some, but I think guests really deserve to know what to expect when they book the property. I would have been a lot less disappointed had the website been honest about what this place is like.

The room was not like the photos on the website. The bed was very plain and slid on tiled floorwhen you sat it or moved in the bed. The linen was definitely not quality linen. The bathroom was good but hot water in the shower was a dribble and so you had to have tepid shower, as you had to turn the cold tap on to get a good stream of water. There was no other seat in the room. Only the table and chairs on the verandah. There was certainly nothing Balinese about this room at all.The sink outside was not a round porcelain sink as in the photos. It was a sunken tin sink.|The owners were pleasant. |

Amazing hosts, thank you to Jan and Brian (Greenie) for making our family feel welcomed and comfortable for the week. Thanks Jan for the offer of the dress for my wife for the wedding, she did so really want to wear it and quite surprised it didn't end up in the suitcase, HA HA. Jan was always on hand to respond to any requests or questions we had about the property or stay in general. Spacious family accommodation with washing and cooking facilities. Continental breakfast supplied as advertised (forgot about the Mango left in the freezer Jan but i am sure it would have tasted great). Great location being only 20 minutes to Mindil beach, 30 minutes to Berri Springs and 30 minutes down the Arnhem Highway to the Croc jumping cruise. It was so relaxing to come back after a long day and just chill out by the pool and unwind. By far the best holiday accommodation the family has stayed in to date. Definitely recommend for a family stay.

Jan, Greenie, Thomas, Tex and the cat ( sorry I don’t know your name puss) were so friendly and welcoming. We stayed to organise our late brothers estate and Jan & Greenie went out of their way to assist us in any way they could. They made it a little easier to deal with a very difficult time. It is heart warming to know there are still some beautiful people in the world.||It was awesome to come back after a long day and laze in that awesome pool and the bats ?, I loved them!!||Thank you so much Jan and Greenie
