Pakenham Caravan Park, excellent friendly staff, amenities are clean, owner is helpful & welcoming. The owners John & his wife Glenda are vibrant & friendly & aim to please. Ariel was pleasant & kind & also wonderful to deal with. The resident security guard is always on the lookout for anything untoward & happy to give a friendly wave & hello. There is a laundry with double sink & bench seat with 1 top loader & 1 front loader washing machine with 4 dryers & outdoor clothes lines, should you wish to use them. The laundry & community areas are closed after dark but if you wish to use the laundry after hours there is a code to enter. Laundry allows $1 coins or tap to pay, depending on your preference. There is an outdoor seating area with a designated smoking section, which is completely sheltered from rain. In this same area there is also an electric barbecue. Locally, supermarkets, train station & other conveniences only a fee minutes drive away. Overall this park has all the fanciness of a holiday park with a small business owner vibe. A wonderful stay.

Little bit of a late review from when I stayed, but better late than never.

I’ve stayed at Pakenham Caravan Park a couple of times, and it’s always a delight! Booking and check-in are a breeze, and the facilities are top-notch—clean, modern, and well-maintained. The owner is an absolute gem, going above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. The location is perfect, with services nearby and the train station just a short stroll down the road. It’s such a shame, though, that the owner had to deal with damage to a couple of cabins from folks charging dodgy electric scooters—what a bizarre way to spark trouble! Overall, this place is a fantastic choice for a comfortable stay. 5 out of 5 stars—highly recommend!

Basic park but very clean & tidy. Level sites, we had a drive thru. Amenities were immaculate. Friendly owner guides you to & assists you on to your site. Bit of traffic noise but you are in the "burbs". Recommended.

We highly recommend this park. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They sent immediate confirmation and texted relevant codes so I didn't have to search for a key/written info. Facilities were exceptionally clean. We will gladly return.

I booked about a month ago for just a night as we are travelling around Victoria. |Communication through the whole process was excellent. We arrived after the office closed but were sent a text with details for the amenities block and wifi code.|The amenities block was spotless, including showers and the laundry. |Yes there is a lot of street noise but once we were asleep it was fine. This is beyond the control of management.|Overall a brief but pleasant stay in our powered site.

Why stay in a hotel box when you can stay in your own unit in amongst the trees full of birds and sunshine. I stay here a fair bit for work and love it. John and Glenda are great people and will help you out with anything. Highly recommended.
