Alison was amazing in that she accepted my fur baby at the last minute so that we could see the platypus at the nearby National Park for a couple of hours. Rylee was well looked after. Happy to recommend

I had booked my cat in to stay while we went on holiday in the first week of September. The booking was made 4 weeks out.
I emailed 10 days prior, to ask if we could visit PPPR to check out the facilities where our pet would be staying. Yes, there are photos on the website but they're not very specific and in any case, I like to see for myself. This has never been an issue at other pet boarding facilities.
I received a blunt, bordering on rude email response (with no Hello, or sign-off) as follows :

Sorry we are to busy for inspection s this weekend we have so many dogs and visitors start them all barking .Noise is something we try and avoid.Also must advise our cattery is currently being renovated and the cats only have half the normal space which is more than adequate for current quests.Your cat is the last we have accepted for the next six months.Probably on reflection I should of said no to your booking as all the others are going home by the end of this weekend except one.You are welcome to still bring your cat or look elsewhere .

To me, checking out where I'm about to send my pet is a basic responsibility. I'm not about to hand him over, sight unseen. To be told 'I should have said no to your booking' is just rude, as is waiting until I contacted them, one week out from our departure date, to say so.
So, I will not consider PPPR ever again & can't recommend that anyone else should, either. Very disappointing experience.

Absolutely amazing pet resort. We have been to 5 different “kennels” the last 3 years and our dog has never been as happy as he is here staying at Pacific Palms. He was able to run and play with other dogs his size all day every day and the fields they are in are changed regularly so they have new trees/grounds etc to sniff around.
The dogs are let out all day to run in the fields with grass, trees and pools and have lovely large rooms at night with big comfortable beds.
The owners are so kind and helpful and really love the animals.
We won’t ever go anywhere else again.

The place is amazing for the dogs and cats. They have fields to run. Small dogs are separated from big doggies and they have own room with beds provided for their comfort. The owners are very nice people, easy to talk to and they love animals. I can recommend this place as the only one for your pets when you go away. Our dog was very happy there and when she came home she was sleeping after so many activities she had with her new friends there.

My two fur babies stayed for the weekend. I felt comfortable leaving them both. Much more room than a regular kennel and better atmosphere. I'm sure they both enjoyed their stay. Will definitely take them back if we ever go away again 👍🏼

It was the first time that we left our fur baby with anyone, and we were nervous... until we met Allison. What an amazing place. Thank you for giving Blue the patience he needs and thank you for sending through the video updates of him enjoying himself over the weekend. We will definitely back.

Great business, our dog had never been left with anyone and he coped really well. Great care is taken of your pets. Friendly service and your mind is put as rest. We only went out for the day but was great knowing our pet was safe and being looked after. Highly recommend this pet resort.

One of the best pet resorts on the east coast of Australia. The dogs have massive air conditioned rooms with big soft comfy beds and a massive play area. They also get to swim in the pool on the hot days. The people that work there are consistently calm and patient with my 3 hyperactive kelpies. Can not recommended this place enough.
