Brilliant resort. Stayed a few days in a great room. Clean, refurbished with new furniture and fittings, and fully repainted and retiled.|Top views over 9 hole par 3 golf course. 3 pools. Activity centre for children. Private beach is a few minutes walk. Lovely lush surroundings.|Couldn't be better. Restaurant on site with bar is very good and reasonable prices.|As good as it gets

As a family we have experienced many holidays at Pacific Bay Resort. We even had my step-daughter's wedding at the Resort in February. It was absolutely beautiful. Nothing was an issue and the wedding party thoroughly enjoyed their day. The staff are always friendly and professional, and make you feel like you are a valued guest from the moment you enter at reception. We absolutely love our stays at Pacific Bay Resort and indeed don't bother booking anywhere else when we come to Coffs Harbour.

We stayed a week at a studio room, which was large enough and comfortable and had a good balcony. The grounds were. are will kept and they’re also nature walks. and short walk to the beach we use the pool gym and spa and sauna facilities. Everything worked fine. We also had great service from the staff and enjoyed sitting on the outdoor deck at the bar in the evening for happy hour was very pleasant.

Gave 3 stars due to location and grounds, very beautiful. Staff very friendly.
However room is so dated, smells mouldy (located near lagoon area bottom level), it's clean but in need of modernising. I'm not fussy at all, but not a great room.
The restaurant food was lovely. Shame as the room let this place down.

Big resort with golf course, pool and beach access. Nice grounds. ||All the accommodation is privately owned but managed by the resort. So all rooms are different in finishes and furniture. So it is the luck of the draw. ||Mine was a nice room on the six floor overlooking the lagoon. Lots of red and getting a bit tied but comfortable enough. There was a TV with local channels but no ability to stream. There is wifi throughout. ||The main resort building has a restaurant and bar area and also a convention centre. There is a golf buggy available where the staff will take you to your building saying a bit of a walk. Breakfast is available which is a buffet, pretty basic but adequate. Dinner was very nice.

Beautiful views and the area was really nice. All staff were very polite, friendly and nice. I can't fault them. The only let down why I would never go back is the room. My room where I stayed in (lagoon area room 1st floor 1209) is very dirty. The chair have food crumbs and dust that was left there seems like forever. The table and walls have dirty markings on it. Dilapidated cabinets. Tissue box is nearly empty - only had 20 sheets in it. The shower and sink water pressure was absolutely ridiculous. It's non-existent no matter how many turns you do. Very little water that comes out. And once you turn the cold water on, it just suddenly becomes too cold and never warms up again. I tried so many times to tune up the hot and cold water - it just goes either too hot or too cold. The price was extremely expensive for a stay that is very poor $235/night. Definitely not a 4 star hotel. I would also add that the room carpet is very dirty, dusty and mouldy smell. There's a horrible smell in the room that just doesn't go away. The 2x chairs provided in the room were made of rattan that were very dirty and old. I never sat on them. Curtains have stain marks that looks really dirty and dusty. It was not a pleasant experience. I didn't take photos as I was extremely disgusted to even have photos nor be comfortable. Just wanted to rest and sleep and leave straight away.

On the other note, breakfast was relative okay. The usual options - scrambled eggs, toast, cereals, fruits, mushroom, hash brown, sausage, tomato, bacon, Pancake, coffee, tea, banana bread, croissant, Muffin, chia seed, alternative milk choice only soy milk.

Gardens stunning, food great but buffet breakfast ordinary, staff great and very helpful, room cleanliness ordinary, mattress was very old and needed replaced could feel springs coming through, rooms were quite dated. Over all we had a great time and would recommend the resort.
