We were exploring Battery Point on Good Friday and Ozus was one of the few cafes open. Very happy we stumbled upon them though. Such a cute little homely place, complete with fireplace for the chilly mornings. Nice courtyard out the back too, but unfortunately we had to get takeaway as the place was full. The coffee was great but the food was the star of the show. One of the best bagels I've ever had and the brisket toastie was incredible too. Great service too, even on a busy morning when they were booked out and people waiting the staff were friendly and happy.
Ended up going back again the next day for another coffee and could sit inside as it was a lot quieter.

Great breakfast spot on a very cute block in Battery Point. Highly recommend the chorizo scramble. Came back a second day to take my parents before we left Hobart. Thanks, guys!

The chorizo scrambled eggs were delicious! Seriously great. I'll be back to have them again next Hobart visit. Coffee too, very good. (I'm from Melbourne- I know coffee!)

Our favourite. Whenever I have brought someone here, without fail, they’ll comment on how good the coffee is. Lovely owners, cosy shop, best location. We also buy their coffee beans to take home. Thank you Ozus.

Wonderful friendly staff! Food is amazing, even some simple scrambled eggs are the best you'll ever have. They are happy to work with dietary requirements, I ordered a gluten and dairy free chicken pesto toastie and it felt like there was nothing I was sacrificing, just delicious! 🙌

Cozy café in the heart of Battery Point. They serve and support locals with very affordable prices. I had corn fritters with smoked salmon today—superior food! Nothing more could be asked for. Highly recommended!
