Went here for the Sunday buffet breakfast. I like that they don't complicate it with trying to have too much option. The only thing we felt was missing was grilled tomato, another egg option aside from scramble, and they had potato scallops instead of hash browns. The pricing is good though and the food was great. We got there towards the end of the breakfast so maybe they had run out of stuff, but what was there was still fresh and hadn't been sitting in the box for hours like other places do. The space is a little tight for the number of chairs and tables in the area. We tried to move across a little bit but were still bumping seats with the chairs behind us on both sides. All that aside, it was still more than worth going back again, which we will do.

We really enjoyed Sunday breakfast at O'Shea's Hotel. We tried Chicken Congee for the first time. It seems strange eating an Asian breakfast dish at an Irish pub in North Queensland. But it was amazing as was the service and vibe. All reasons why we will be back again.

Wow best pub meal in ages . Beer really cold served by such lovely people . Andrew said his mushroom gravey was the best. He definitely didn't let us down .. 10 /10

Great old school pub. Refurbishments happening at the moment. Cold beer lovely and fresh affordable meals, currently with a "all you can eat" buffet Friday and Saturday nights, I would recommend booking. Biggest bonus is the Owners Karen and Andrew and ALL there lovely staff who are very welcoming to all patrons, whether local or travelling through. Definitely worth calling in and saying G'day.

Cold guinness on tap and pinnacle pies, what more could you ask for.. best pub in Mackay. The publican is a champ too, had the next round of guinness waiting for us👍 🍺🥧☘️
