Easily one of the best cafés in the area. A solid coffee, but get in in the morning to make sure you don’t miss out. Just a shame they don’t offer mugs if you’re dining in.

Spectacular coffee, super friendly, yum toastie and cool vibes. I usually get a single O, but the blend was smooth as silk with an amazing after taste. So good to buy a coffee from someone who knows their coffee. Amazing experience. Loved the mug shot wall too, for any crime buffs.

I am a self proclaimed coffee snob and Operation Underground does the best coffee and even an amazing real cold brew! Beautiful staff and Matt treated me like a VIP! Highly recommend! Toasties to die for!

First time here but will now be my go to cafe. Ambience is awesome and cool.
I’m so fussy with coffee it was delicious and wow what to say about their ‘Crowd Pleaser’ toastie - TRY IT! You won’t regret it.
Staff are lovely and friendly, and now I know I can bring my furr kids I will definitely be back. We are so blessed in Hervey Bay to have some great places that are so customer focused and yummy!!

Only cooked breakfast option was toast and coffee only available in takeaway cups. Didn’t stay.

Response to owner comment - my partner and I value good coffee in a ceramic cup - we feel that it tastes better than paper cups and doesn't add to landfill. We were prepared to go elsewhere, especially if there is very good coffee just around the corner.
I “sent my partner in” and remained outside myself with our dog as we were unsure of your policy regarding pets in your cafe.
Based on our customer experience a 3 seemed appropriate. I am sorry that you feel entitled to a higher rating.
BTW having a great weekend in Hervey Bay.

As a long black coffee snob I always research the best coffee places before I take a trip, and the coffee did not disappoint! The single origin long black was great, I even got some fresh batch brew while I waited. Highly recommend!

Near a beach, with tunes, couches, food and a relaxing vibe.
Friendly owner with equally friendly staff.
Clean and tidy with a welcoming atmosphere.
Talk to others or read a book or even log into work on your laptop while drinking a delicious coffee of your choice. Definitely a must visit location when in Hervey bay

Consistently excellent coffee complimented by a relaxed and friendly vibe. Matt’s (the owner) kind and authentic character fills the room as soon as you walk in! A very welcoming space to enjoy a beverage in. Highly recommend the Mont Blanc - it’s delicious!
