After seeing the high ratings and the pics of this place, I thought try this place out. |I booked two bedroom apartment for a week and I couldn't believe there was only one old air-con for the whole place. This thing was struggling to cool down the place.|They had fans in the bedrooms and the beds in both rooms were that uncomfortable. The double bed had was very hard with a dip in the middle. After the third night, my wife and I decided to sleep in the second room which had two single beds, the beds were also hard and the pillows were very uncomfortable. |After the sixth night my back was killing me. My wife started to feel like she was getting bitten by something while she slept. Most probably from dust mites. At this point I decided to leave a day earlier as I couldn't stay here any longer. |The views of the beach was the only thing that was good at this place. The kitchen was old, with old utensils. The bathroom was also old. |Maybe this was just the apartment we stayed in, but for the price I paid to stay here, I could have gotten something much better with air conditioning throughout the whole apartment.

The new managers are so nice! Brian and Janet were amazing! Excellent welcome , the building is kept so clean and tidy. The location in Surfers Paradise would have to be the best you can get! Right on the beach. WOW the views ! We looked directly onto the beach. We have been here a few times and will definitely return. Love this place.

Not a nice place for kids at all no balls no playing no speaking around the pool as there are grumpy
Old residents that don’t like kids or tourists in there building but are happy to take thousands of dollars for a 4 day stay I found this as there apology in the lift after stressing the kids and ruining our holyday there was other guests that had been booked and had to cancel there booking as a result of the harassment received from management and residents

Yet again thank you for a fabulous stay!
We returned to One the Esplanade after a holiday which has been a long time coming in the hope the standard we remembered from our last stay was the same and we were not disappointed.
Nice and clean, friendly greeting upon arrival and a feeling of genuinely wanting to assist us is just how we remember!
Thank you again - our next trip is in the planning already!

We booked via booking dot com few months back. Unfortunately we have to cancel our trip to Australia from New Zealand due to family medical emergency 10 days before arrival. I tried making contact numerous times via secure booking dot coma email, calling them on phone and leaving message, even booking dot com customer services tried contacting them numerous times and i got message from them that there is no reply from them. The booking was cancelled well in advance during peak school holidays time when demand for apartment is very high ie end Sep/early Oct24.
It is unfortunate that this business will not reply back once you have paid in advance despite offering them I can provide a NZ Govt hospital letter to state emergency condition. Be aware before booking. Forget about any refund. This businss is very very inconsiderate on customer services. hile other 4 accomodiation providers in the Gold coast, Sunshine coast, Brisbane gave full refund credits considering our circumstances including Australian airline Jetstar and Airport car rental company.

Unfortunately, with reply to this review worth noting that these apartments are directly advertised on Booking dot com under the same name "One The Esplande" but instead of good management some of these are ...hosted by non management .. so it makes it much more confusing , so please be aware whom you are dealing with...irrespective ..the individuals are making the customer experience in my experience bad for the "one the esplanade" as a whole.

The price i paid for this is not worth , Though our check in was late , there was no one to greet next day or explain about the hotel/room |wifi extremely slow |only sachet of dishwasher soap provided .|no detergents for cleaning |staying for 7 nights , no fresh towels provided .|under the toaster crumbs were lying |bathing soap is so tiny , uhhhh||washing machine extremely old , makes so much of noise |apartment is big but it’s just a better version of airbnb |Booking .com doesn’t provide absolute facts while booking the property, be careful.Disgusting |not again here’|i would rather pay more and go to a standard place with better amenities

In our unit, every room faced Surfers Paradise and it was truly spectacular. It does get bright very early (6:30 am) and they don't have blackout curtains. So if early mornings are not your thing, or you wake up with light, you may want to avoid it. We were staying there for 5 days and they provided only 1 dishwashing tablet, and 1 detergent tablet. |Otherwise, everything is absolutely perfect - from location to the cleanliness as well as the size of the unit.

We had such a fantastic stay here. Judy and Chris were so helpful and kind. The apartment was beautiful and the view was breathtaking. So comfortable and clean, everything we could have wanted. Some much room for the four of us, 2 Adults two kids. The beds were so comfortable and we loved the shutters on the windows, they were great.|The location was perfect, just short walk to everything we needed
