Have stayed here on a number of occasions, while I definitely feel it's always been exceptional over the years - the service has dropped slightly since the change of ownership unfortunately. This may just be due to the team used to the changeover, hopefully it returns to its super high standard in the coming months. Regardless of this slight decline, I do still believe it's a beautiful hotel at a very reasonable price and would continue to book! 🙂

Great location just outside the heart of Sydney. Lots of places to eat around there and a Woolworths supermarket downstairs. |Instructions for parking could be better communicated prior to arrival otherwise check in was quick and friendly. Water pressure in kitchen sink was like a trickle. But we would stay again

It was a bit chaotic to start with because we came in on the day they were doing an event for the new owners. But the women at reception were exceptional. They handled everything so well. ||The room is great but really missing storage for pretty much everything. There’s no where to put food in the kitchen or anything folded in the bedroom. There was good storage in the bathroom but that’s it. ||The bedroom is TINY and I thought it was a king bed but it isn’t. And you can almost not walk next to either side of the bed. It’s so small. And then the wardrobes have nothing much but a huge amount of hanging space? Just poorly designed space. Especially for an apartment style room. ||Everything is very clean and smelled good. It’s a pity they haven’t got better shops in the retail area clearly too expensive to rent out. Which is a pity because the design of the building is all about looking into the atrium shops area but it’s a ghost town.

As a regular reviewer i cannot speak highly enough of Skye Suites Green Square. Nothing is ever too much for them to do to help a guest enjoy their experience while staying there. The staff are more than friendly and welcoming which sits you at rest from the time you walk in until the time that you walk out. All the facilities are modern, clean and well prepared for your stay. I love this place.

The location is terrible. It’s on a main road in a very industrial part of town. The area is dead when it comes to nice shops, bars or restaurants. The hotel doesn’t even have those!||If you are here to explore Sydney, choose elsewhere. ||The building itself and the rooms are different to the photos which are clearly a few years old and been photoshopped. Service was underwhelming. They literally have minimal staff there. They call themselves a urban resort. Really, it’s cheap serviced apartments. ||Housekeeping was non existent and the furnishing is cheap

Easy check in and the room, pool & facilities were immaculate, spa was a big hit with our daughter. The bed was very comfortable and a late check out was no issue at all. Special mention to Kevin at the front desk, top class service. We left items in our room and they were shipped to us straight away.

Disappointing Experience at a Supposed 5-Star Hotel

I recently stayed at this hotel, expecting a luxurious experience given its 5-star rating, but unfortunately, it fell far short of expectations. We were celebrating Father’s Day during our trip, and while we received three complimentary beers, all of them were expired. Though the receptionist kindly replaced them with two new ones, my father was understandably disappointed by the lack of attention to detail.

The issues didn’t stop there. After finishing the beers, we discarded the bottles in the room bin. When housekeeping cleaned our room the next day, they clearly must’ve dropped a bottle, shattering it on the floor. Shockingly, the shards were not properly cleaned up, and my mother stepped on one, but luckily she was wearing slippers. This lapse in basic cleaning standards is unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one with a 5-star designation.

Additionally, on another day, I requested that the housekeeping staff start the dishwasher. Instead, they unloaded the dishwasher, placing the dirty dishes back into the cupboards. I had to call reception to address this issue, reload the dishwasher myself, and then wait for someone to come and start it.

Despite seeing your team's replies to other guests' complaints about poor cleaning services, which often dismiss concerns by pointing to better reviews, I can attest first-hand to the subpar service. These repeated and serious shortcomings in cleanliness and service have left me thoroughly disappointed.

Given these experiences, I cannot recommend this hotel and will not be returning.

Really handy location for getting to/from airport or into Sydney, with the city centre just one or two stop away on the train.|Many great restaurants nearby and lots of shops.|Comfortable bed and great room facilities.|Some very helpful staff.||Disliked · Unfortunately two of the bathroom walls and the bathroom door were covered in someone else's hairs. This was reported to the front desk when we noticed it but was not cleaned when we returned later that day. I had to speak to the front desk for a second time and the staff member apologised, came up to the room and cleaned the bathroom herself. She also brought a bottle of champagne as way of an apology.|The noise level in the room was also unacceptable. We were in an external south facing room and could hear everything from sirens to traffic at all hours of the day. It was also windy whilst we stayed and the wind whistled and groaned throughout the building. I had to put a pool towel along the bottom of the apartment door to stop the whistling in our room but we could still hear it from along the corridor.|The outdoor pools were tepid at best.
