The apartment was clean and spacious and everything you need. You could walk to restaurants and night clubs .Across the street has food and great coffee and chocolate thick shakes and a local grocery store. Peter and Carol were fantastic need help with anything they were there. Beautiful couple and very welcoming. Good on you guys your the the best

Coral & Peter were an absolute delight from booking to staying. Exemplary service all the way. Recommendations on everything from various cuisine on offer to places to visit. They are an amazing Team. Apartment was nothing short of spectacular boasting the most amazing views. Roomy, modern & thoroughly clean & sparkly. Everything here was wonderful. Close walk to anything & everything, secure car park, great private pool area. Didn't visit Games Room but it's all here. Exceptionally clean & definite Wow factor. Thank you for a most memorable stay.

Fabulous place to holiday. Spacious unit size for families. Large balcony with beautiful views of the maroochy River. Great for water sport lovers. Close to cafes, Sunshine Plaza, Picnic Point & Cotton Tree. Short drive to Maroochydore Beach. Loved just stepping out the door & walking or cycling along the river for miles. Jetty & pontoon for those that like to fish or moor your boat or jetski. Large visitors car park. Pool & spa to relax in the sun.

Units in this apartment complex appear to be a mix of owner-occupied, long-term rentals and holiday/short-term rentals.||||We stayed in a two bedroom apartment on the second floor of one of the towers for four nights. We were told that this apartment was currently up for sale. We chose this Apartment complex as it was close to the place where our friends lived. As it turned out the Apartments were less than a 10 minute walk to Sunshine Plaza and about a 25 minute flat walk to Maroochydore beach. There were several coffee shops nearby and a bakery and convenience shop across the road.||||The unit was furnished and quite large with a combined lounge/dining area, a separate kitchen, a laundry with a separate toilet, a bathroom with a separate bath and a shower but no toilet and an ensuite bathroom with a shower (good pressure), basin and toilet. The two bedrooms were a reasonable size, both with queen sized beds (comfortable) and had plenty of space in the built-in wardrobes.||||In the kitchen there was a full sized fridge, an oven, a cooktop, microwave oven, dishwasher, kettle, toaster etc and sufficient pots, pans, crockery and cutlery.||||There was also a balcony.||||The two downsides to this unit were that you felt as if you lived in a fish bowl as surrounding units had a very good view into the kitchen, lounge room and balcony. Also you could see into the two bedrooms from the street.||||Second was that the WIFI was effectively non-existent. We did have the Strata Manager reset the router at one stage but this proved to be only a temporary fix.||||The Strata Managers, Coral and her husband, were very pleasant and helpful.||||We did not use any of the complex's facilities that included a swimming pool and games room.

Absolutely amazing to stay at On The River Luxury Apartments. The name certainly is extremely fitting for the quality of these apartments. The managers are wonderful, helpful and extremely friendly. Location is just great! We have stayed here multiple times and every time is a pleasure! Everything is just spot on! Thank you

My family and I have been holidaying at 'OTR' for several years now and we just keep coming back! The on-site managers are the most wonderful people - so friendly and will go above and beyond to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The kids (and the older ones) have access to a games room/arcade where we always play a game or two of billiards and the fact that the apartments have their own PRIVATE jetting and boat mooring facility is absolutely wonderful! The pool is always kept crystal clean and is just perfect.||||The apartments themselves are clean, bright and airy and the managers always keep them in tip top condition.. We had a leaking air-conditioner once and Andy was in our unit repairing it within minutes - I bet you can't get that kind of service at any other hotel on the coast! Although there could be a couple of updates done in the apartments hear and there.. the quality still far exceeds expectations. ||||I know a couple of the other reviews on here say that the managers weren't 'nice' to them, we have never had any problems with them - always so friendly and kind. I guess those couple of people may have deserved how they were treated.. You've got to remember that there are people who live in the complex and having kids yelling out during the day etc etc is not on.. The same with making excessive noise at night as the sound carries down the river and also bounces off the buildings surrounding and goes into the other apartments! ||||All in all, 'OTR' is a wonderful place to holiday on the coast as everything you will ever need: shops, restaurants, entertainments are all within walking distance.

We booked a two night stay here for my husbands 30th birthday, our first weekend without the kids in a long time so we were very excited! First of all the price was great, cheapest we could find for that weekend. Location was excellent, on the river and walking distance to the tavern, restaurants ect so that was fantastic. The room we stayed in was Okay, the bed was hard and there were no towels in the room. However, a friend of ours were staying in the same resort and theirs was a lot nicer. So not all rooms are the same. Our only problem was from the moment I mentioned it was my husbands birthday the owners were very concerned we were going to make noise I guess. They asked us multiple times, upon booking and checking in if we were going out, to which we said no, we are just going to relax here.. to which the woman said "are you sure?" I don't think we look like loud, party people.. we are just a married couple wanting to relax for the weekend without our kids. The male owner was very concerned about where we were tying our boat up ect. Even following us to the water and making sure we did everything "right". |Apart from the owners making us feel like we are party animals (despite us being in bed by 8.30pm) it was a nice weekend.
