Without question, the best pastry I've ever had. I could have just had sheets of pastries and still given this place 5 stars. I sat down to a steak pie and a plain sausage roll.
Despite not tasting the deserts, their appearance was amazing and the prices for hot food are extremely reasonable for the quality and flavour.
I will definitely be back to try more.

Sensational!! Do not go past here without stopping as there will be something for everyone. Renowned for their pies for sure as they are amazing but also has great sandwiches breads cakes and pastries. The sausage roll is exceptional as well.

A very unique bakery with a lot of wood panelling and antique bits and pieces.
We had the apple turnover with cream, which was okay but not the best we've had.
Coffee and Chai Latte were fine.
Service was a let down with them forgetting to bring our food.

Better than Kenilworth. Easily the best bakery in Queensland. The customer service is brilliant, the staff are so lovely. The pies are the perfect amount of flakey. The chilli steak was actually spicy and had three types of chillies. The lamington was SOFT with unique flavours including a Vietnamese Iced Coffee Lamington. There's ample seating outdoors too. Absolutely loved it!!

Excellent pies! I had the venison and took home a crocodile pie. Absolutely delicious! However, terrible coffee. I had an average expectation for coffee at place like this, and that would have been fine. But it was extremely watery topped up with cheap almond milk! 🤮 I was not happy.

We also didn't know that we could go next door and sit in the Cafe there. We ended up having to cross the road (and back), which if you are there on market day, it's ridiculously busy and take forever! It was cloudy, overcast and a super windy. It would have been a much nicer experience to sit inside or on the outdoor chairs that were out of the wind. So again, not happy.

They need a better seating arrangement next to the bakery and a big sign in the garden and inside saying 'extra seating next door'. Very poorly managed in that regard.

Hopefully they will fix these minor things asap and learn how to make a decent coffee with quality ingredients and improve their business and customer experience.

Delicious food. The steaks n cheese and chicken n Veg were undeniably good. The beef bacon and cheese was mid. Raspberry tart was mouth watering and the fresh cream donuts were on point too.

Sadly, the bakery had really gona downhill.
Pies are okay, not like they used to be when the other owners were there. The pastries unfortunately dont taste like they should, eg. Caramel slice: You have to scrap the chocolate of the top just to taste the caramel.
Not to mention, there were flies on the pastries
Sad to see this place going downhill
