Cozy little cafe located on Nickolas street which serves a delicious fruity flat white and well made fresh tasting toasties.

We ordered the pulled pork and pizza of which both had a nice homemade sauce and little surprises within that made them lovely . Really likes the goat cheese in the pulled pork sandwich .

We parked at Nicholas St precinct car park which offers 3 hours free on weekdays and whole day on weekends which is a better option than the metered 1P street parking .

Would recommend and come again !

☕️🥑 This place came highly recommended by you guys, and I couldn't agree more—Oikos is top-notch! Their smashed avo is probably my favorite in Ipswich; the relish is absolutely delicious. 🤤 Their coffees are amazing, and I can't recommend them highly enough. The wonderful staff and owners make every visit a pleasure. 😍

Walked in yesterday as someone local has recommended the place. I got a takeaway, - smashed avo and salmon on the side + coffee. The service was ok, plenty of seating and quite a cosy furniture. The food was lovely, bread was actually properly toasted with the butter, generous amount of avocado and smoked salmon. The coffee tasted ok too, nothing extraordinary. It was great to see a paper box and wooden cutlery for takeaways.

Why not 5 stars: people sitting in the cafe were literally yelling when talking to each other (all males), that was so loud! And because the staff addressed them by names, I assume they were regulars and hence are allowed to do what they want. That had deterred me from having a meal inside and made me order a takeaway instead. It would be literally impossible to hear each other if you were to catch up with a friend. Not a particularly comfortable atmosphere. I also was surprised the cafe doesn't have Hollandaise sauce, I had to ask mayo instead, - maybe a suggestion for future improvement. I'd be keen to try other cafes around before recommending this one.

When you’re looking for a needle in the haystack, stop looking.

The service, food and coffee here was amazing and worthy of a review. My photos were rushed because my phone was low on battery and I will come again to take better photos.

We had nachos and the full sandwich and were very, very impressed.

Then I overheard the owner chatting about their social enterprise, helping kids on track to life and various other incredible modern day heroisms, I’m absolutely making this a regular stop when we come into Ipswich in the future.

Thank you 🙏🏼 🙏🏼

Oikos have opened in a new location in Nicholas St, in the Ipswich CBD. The cafe is bright and airy with a fun atmosphere. The extensive toastie menu has a lot of great options including bacon, brie and cranberry or bacon, honey and halloumi. There's also a desert option with marshmallow and nutella - delicious. The coffee is fantastic and they've recently added back their nachos range which is also very tasty and features ingredients that are good for you.

I love this little gem! Firstly, their coffee is really good... And I'm pretty fussy about my coffee, liking a stronger, more robust flavour. So when I saw the ad for a music evening to support local artists, I jumped at it even though I live a 45-minute drive outside the area. The tickets were worth every cent and more!! The musicians were excellent, the food very yummy, and the ambience nice and cosy with tablecloths and tea light candles. The wait staff were, as always, very friendly and smiling. A big shout out to Brett, Gianni, Callum, Lara and all the others who made this a truly memorable evening. I look forward to my regular daily coffee!
