Amazing vibrant little cafe/restaurant with an interesting lunch menu. There are daily specials to supplement the regular menu. Food came out quite quickly considering it was busy. All meals looked fabulous and were very hot, tasty and generous. Prices were average for this type of establishment. Wine was around $54-60 per bottle. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Only open for breakfast and lunch at this stage. Booking is recommended as the venue is very popular with locals.

Had the best meal we have had for quite some time.
Oyster entree was succulent and so fresh.
Could not have been happier with my main meal of beef fillet. Cooked to perfection as were all the beautiful veggies that accompanied it.
My 2 companions thought the same of their confit of duck.

Excellent brunch.
We had 3 dishes all of which were very tasty, balanced in flavour with much respect to fresh ingredients. I loved the fried squid in particular which was ever so tender on the inside and not at all chewy, and delicately crunchy on the outside and was accompanied with a delicious salsa.

Would recommend a stop here on a roadtrip to the region.

Lovely restaurant in Bermagui. Went for lunch and another time for coffee and cake. Beautifully cooked food and light and breezy atmosphere. We sat outside but the interior looked great as well.

Fantastic service and delicious food! Generous servings and beautiful presentation. I had ceasar salad and hubby had squid and can vouch for both! Hubby said it was the best meal his had on our trip Gold Coast - Melbourne- Gold Coast! Don't miss the opportunity to lunch here!!

Cafe by day, restaurant by (Thursday to Saturday) night, Octopii is a sweet little spot in Bermagui. Fitting with its seaside locale, even the daytime menu extends beyond the usual cafe fare to offer up some of the sea’s bounty. Under a golden puff pastry dome, the fish and seafood pie ($27) is well-loaded with game fish, firm fleshed prawns and mussels, sitting in a creamy white sauce. Mash and bright green mushy peas make it into a substantial meal against a glass of French wine, the Pichot Vouvray ($13.50/glass).

A generously proportioned vegetable plate ($25) presented fingers of grilled halloumi with grilled vegetables, a bright splash of beetroot dip, hummus, grilled flat bread, fresh herbs and a sprinkling of dukka. It’s tasty and one of two vegetarian dishes on the succinct nine dish menu. The floor team is young and well-intentioned; making a clear effort to correctly pronounce unfamiliar terms on the daily specials.

Popped in for takeaway coffees and was pleasantly surprised! The lovely green tiling and paintings internally are all fabulous, it’s a great place to be!

There is a reasonable amount of car parking available as well.

Coffee was really nice! Service was lovely as well.

Looking unassuming from the outside, the food is absolutely delicious and the portion sizes are just right. Service is warm and comes with a big smile. Highly recommended!
