The vibe is nice and friendly, so it is unfortunate that the coffee here is consistently poor. Every time I give the coffee a chance, it disappoints. Would not recommend.

Last time I ordered a bowl, it didn't reflect the fruits on the menu. Apple slices instead of kiwi etc. I think improvements could be made by writing 'seasonal fruits' on the menu instead.

I think there was a change in ownership?

My first ever time going and it was amazing. The customer service was great and just an overall great store. It’s also got your supplemental proteins if you’re a gym rat needing a to find what you’re after, all at a great price too. Definitely will be back, it’s also very local for anyone that loves their smoothie bowls or juices/smoothies. This is the place to be.

Fabulous soy chai latte which had plenty of spice flavour and an amazing cinnamon coffee scroll with loads of creamy icing. Highly recommend if you are staying at the local caravan park as it's within walking distance.

$8.50 for a regular coffee on a public holiday. I can only imagine how much your large coffee is.

Even if it's a public holiday, and me asking for extra shot of coffee (50 cents), it's still very expensive.

This is not double bay, it's Budgewoi FFS.

Do not recommend, the coffee wasn’t good tasted burnt and unfortunately the main item of their menu being the bagels they were stale and the avo was obviously not fresh and had a sour taste to it, the salmon bagel was OK not amazing or worth the price for anything.

Really unwelcoming person serving, more interested in going back to sit with her friend and talk. Hardly any dialogue when ordering, despite being clear it was our first (and last) time… The café wasn’t busy at all, yet the tables were extremely dirty, and it took several of our own wipes to make our table useable. I personally would’ve preferred to leave at that point, but I was taken there by someone else. Additionally, many areas appeared unclean, including other tables, the cake display and the cash register stand that you look at and presumably tap for payment.

When we ordered to eat in, the food was pushed to the front of the counter without any interaction other than, I almost want to say, a “here are”, but I’m not even sure what was said as it was just a noise. She then proceeded to make our coffees, having to wait for spoons so we could eat our food as none were provided when served…. After the REALLY STRONG coffees were made, and we took them to the table ourselves, the staff member then walked past us to sit back down and resume her conversation with her friend. I enjoyed the super strong tasting coffee but the person I was with couldn’t drink theirs. The food was nice but I’m not sure we got all that was listed on the menu - it said “berries” so I assumed it was topped with a mix of blueberries, strawberries and possibly raspberries, but I received 1 cut up strawberry.

While the food was quite good and the coffee strong (perhaps too strong for my companion), the overall atmosphere and lack of cleanliness made it difficult to fully appreciate the food, which is a real shame as it would be great to have something refreshing like this on a hot day. All of this outweighed what I can get elsewhere without being made to feel bad about just walking in to a shop.

Went here New Year’s Day ice coffee taste like burnt coffee and was Luke warm no ice .Ham and cheese toastie was 2 /10 at best just slapped together .Wont be returning .Just read their reply pretty much says everything about the place .They also had what looked like an 8 yr old serving up food and eating at the same time behind the counter place was not hygienic at all wasn’t going to mention this but after his reply ,pick your game up or you will go under .Never had an issue with the old owners so go figure .Negative attitude ,blame the customer ?I don’t leave bad reviews ,what a joke shame on you .Clearly has issues as this is the first bad review I’ve ever left once again lift your game read other reviews .Why did you change your original response ?Because you blamed the customer saying they had attitude when clearly your food prep ,service and food is well under standard .No ones hiding you seriously have issues .Funny my last 13 reviews are all 5 star please feel free to read them your a joke .Please explain the hygiene issues as said in previous reviews of other customers and why an 8 yr old is working in your shop ,you like to go back and forward no sorry I haven’t deleted other bad reviews .Thats just you trying to make yourself feel better .Clearly hope you get help that you obviously need .There was also a cross contamination with food issue here as well I can’t be bothered this started out as a bad food review but he just carry’s on and on and on .Cant handle the truth .We ordered 2 ham /cheese toasties where they were cut with the knife in half when they come out there was Avacado on the toasted bread where it was cut with a dirty knife .Also who serves a toastie surrounded by potato chips “really “
