Not overly thrilled with the end result. Had builders gel put on. There was no attention to detail. This is the result after asking for three of the nails to be fixed. The polish isn’t even on the nails it feels all bumpy - I was told this is because I had acrylics before. I told her I have never had acrylics. The corners and sides are untidy also.
Wish I had read previous reviews before walking in for my appointment.

My sister and I went in to get nails done and all I can say is we are very disappointed with the service and outcome.

I got a manicure with shellac. The lady I had appeared to not care, was rushing the entire process and very rough. It physically hurt when she used the file/drill and broke my skin. She did a very dodgy job with the cuticle care as well (they look worse then they did before). When getting the massage, it was like she was trying to take my arm off with how rough and how much she pulled my arm - I thought it was supposed to be a relaxing massage. Not to mention, when applying the polish, she got it all over my fingers and did not wipe it off. I’ve been left with messy nails that simply are not good quality or worth the money. She also scratched a nail at the end of the service which left a big mark on my nail.

My sister got full set acrylics, her mail lady did not file any part of her nail. She has been left with extremely sharp and untidy nails as well. Her nails are also uneven. And to top it all off, she was charged an extra $10 for shellac when she didn’t even ask for shellac.

If you are after a nice and good place to get nails done DO NOT go to this salon. Very disappointing and not worth the money at all. I think some training for the staff would be greatly beneficial.

EDIT * nails didn’t even last 4 days before hey started to chip and flake off from the sides!

The older lady used a very abrasive nail file attachment to remove left over shellac. However, she used it on the one spot of my thumb nail where there wasn’t any shellac and made a divot/hole which started to become painful.

I removed my hand saying that’s my nail. She said no, it’s shellac. There was only shellac down the bottom half of the nail not top right.

She changed nail file to a less abrasive attachment and continued to file on the same spot!! WTH
I removed my hand saying you’re filing nerves. She stopped. I don’t understand why she would do that.

Have had fairly good experiences with other nail technicians.

One of the best place I’ve visited soo far for doing my nails. Had amazing experience. Staff are also good and friendly. Recommend for everyone.

In a rush, rough with holding hands and the women don't speak fluent English. BUT! They are very talented and they managed to smash out 10 other ppl when my friend and I walked in, sat us down straight away. $90 for this including a soak. Not bad prices.

I will never go back again. I bleeded twice and my nail designer wasn't nice at all. In the end you couldn't even pay by card, which we only found out at the end and then had to withdraw money. My nails are not done well and the French is crooked. We payed too much for our nails. So rude!

The ladies at ocean nails are amazing completely fixed my nails I was so unhappy with getting at another salon. Highly recommend:)
