Rooms are depressing with no view, except only 2 rooms overlooking on a main road. Swimming pool looks depressing as well, with an artificial grass and no view whatsoever, feels claustrophobic. Very disappointing stay, we booked for 4 nights but stay only two.will never come back again.

Managed to get a last minute weekend deal for 3 nights last weekend with ANMF membership rates. Well located very close to beach and shops, with everything on the doorstep all within walking distance. Lovely well maintained room as well as communal pool and heated spa. Other towns such as Point Lonsdale, Port Arlington, Barwon Heads, St Leonards, Indented Heads and Queenscliff to name a few were just a short drive. Also met some other guests who were very friendly. If I have one gripe which is common to hotels it is having to use the bathroom sink to washes dishes and cutlery. Excellent air conditioning in the room which is just as well as last Saturday 22/02 was like a furnace outside with that hot wind. Also there is free wi fi.

Ruined our holiday! We booked 12 months in advance to get the room we wanted, but after receiving confirmation that we had the room, got a text message saying that we were in another room. Not the one we booked and not appropriate with the main bed in the living room! Not 2 separate bedrooms as requested. So angry and disappointed. So much for being an ANMF member and thinking we would be looked after. WRONG! Sent a text message to the number stating disappointment but sadly got no apology! Not likely to return after this.

Disappointed! Stuffed up my booking!|After staying here previously and being happy with the 2 bedroom family suite we enjoyed, I booked the same room 12 months in advance. Being an ANMF member I thought I would be looked after. WRONG!!|I received an email on the Wednesday prior to the booking for the following Monday saying that I was in the room requested.|The day before our stay, Sunday morning at 10 AM I received a text message saying that we were in room 12. I immediately contacted them to query. |Upon arrival we found that we don’t have 2 separate bedrooms, the bed is in the living area, a small bar fridge, no privacy, not what we booked. So disappointed and unhappy that we don’t feel comfortable booking again. |Texted the contact number to complain and got no response. Not even sorry for ruining our trip! Angry and disappointed.

Ocean grove chalet is amazing the spa bath is relaxing. The room have a beautiful, serene view. The pool and spa is awesome! Although the reception was not here when we arrived I rang the number and received a phone call promptly. Great service! Great location as it was a short walk to the Zebra bar restaurant where the meal was amazing!

Our niece very kindly booked a 3-night for my partner and I to stay at Ocean Grove Chalet over her wedding weekend. On arrival on Friday, we noted a problem in our room (Room 1) - the TV didn't work; while there was sound, there was no picture; we tried to see if it was a settings issue but it was not. There are no reception staff but guests are given a mobile number to contact in the case of any issues. As is apparent from the texts below, there is no close to no help in case you need assistance or you strike a problem in your room. The shower and bathroom were great; the bed was ordinary. We ended up leaving early due to dissatisfaction with our experience. We were hoping this would be somewhere we could stay at regularly but that won't be happening.

There’s a couple of positives with this place, undercover parking, good shower and convenient location to the shopping street, food and bar . You’re not to far from the beach but it’s an uphill walk and that’s where the positives for me finish. There is no view unless from what I can work out you pay for the penthouses, the rooms are very noisy if there is anyone especially children in the rooms above , you need to wash your own dishes before leaving and okay that’s not a major inconvenience but I did wonder how hygienic that is when there is no tea towel or detergent. I wondered why there was a coffee ring on the cups in the cupboard and then worked it out once I saw the departure instructions ( wash and return the cups etc to where they were). If you’re stopping overnight it’s probably not a bad spot but if you want beach views, easy access and a motel room that gives you a room big enough to be comfortable for a short term stay then I would recommend you look elsewhere.

Lovely services, no disturbance. Internet broke off but someone came in to fix it. Spa heater not working unless you want to take a cold dip, you cannot use it.
