The room was spacious as it accommodated the three of us and all facilities are working good. ?
However, the bed sheets were a bit crumpled and there is a bit of smokey smell coming up from the bar downstairs.
Location is awesome! Check-in process after hours is a bit awkward as there was no attendee. Other than that, everything was good!

I’ve been a regular patron of the ob all my life and always been happy to put some money over the bar. They have apparently made the pub “no pets allowed” in the last month and straight after ordering a beer we were told by the manager to either skull our beers and leave or have them taken off us, completely against rsa rules. Sad to see the local go downhill, better off putting your money over the bar somewhere else.

We stayed 4 nights here, great location, fantastic staff & the manager was absolutely brilliant. Very helpful & a great ambassador 4 the region. Such yummy food & entertainment, so much fun.

Wednesday night jazz
Each week Toby, Aaron and Matthew are amazing musicians.
Weekly special guest singers and musicians make the evening powerful and uplifting with really good jazz music.
The Whiskey Bar turns into our favourite jazz club
The decor, atmosphere, service and food and drinks selection makes it a great bar.
We look forward to our Wednesday jazz

The OB Hotel was (being the operative word) our go to for pub grub and a few beers in umina. We arrived tonight for a bite to eat to be told our dog is no longer allowed in the garden. This is the typical case of a blanket ban because of some idiot owners who refuse to keep their dogs under control and the pub not holding these idiots accountable. We will not be going back.

Good location being a short distance from the beach. Don’t know about the rooms as didn’t stay there. Worse food we have had during our stay here. Actually… worse food we have had anywhere in quite some time. Wouldn’t have been so bad if it was cheap but was expensive as well. Place was dirty as well and half the lights were out which just gave it a run down feel. So many better options around.

Staff are amazing especially Skye at the gaming bar! She is always super helpful and you can see she gives all of herself to her job and customers! Shaun in security is amazing also and makes everyone feel very safe! Highly recommend this pub
