Great sporting facility, plenty of seating and general viewing around the ground.. will be a lot better once new amenities blocks and the rest of the oval surrounds are landscaped. Looking forward to watching many more sports and events at the oval. Family friendly venue with very helpful staff.

Very clean, great setup and very clean on site toilets only need is with the very small canteen it's not in a very good place and the queue goes into the walkway so hence blocking the flowing crowd second beef is with the walkway and the big gap between the two stadium seats and the tunnel for the players to go on and off the field. It's a sudden big drop off no ramp for mobile challenged individuals.

It has undergone a complete revamp after the Feb 2022 event. Has more seating and areas for food vans/stalls. Attended the Carols in the Heart event. It was well presented.

Fantastic regional ground, well kept and modern facilities. Great venue for a wide range of sports and activities. Well run by helpful council staff. Lismore is lucky to have such a great asset

Had a great day at the Titans v Warriors trial, amenities were well maintained & food, beverages fresh & cold.
Hopefully more NRL games will be held at Oakes Oval in the future.

We went to this oval to watch an NRL pre season game. Unless you had grandstand seats, there was very little shade. There wasn't any running commentary of the progress of the game. Long queues for the drinks bar. Speakers only set up for the grandstands and were too close, very loud.

Drove past this oval last time I was in Lismore, looks like it has been upgraded since then. Apparently the Sydney Swans and Gold Coast Suns are playing the first ever AFL (trial) match in Lismore at this venue in March 2019.
