I’ve eaten here two nights in a row. Last night the food was delicious. Tonight it hit fabulously delicious. Everything was as close to perfection as I could have hoped for. An incredibly excellent and unexpected experience for a small country town.

Staff and owner were obviously lovely. The restaurant has personality and life, including some very unique-looking shopping basket lamp shades.

Have returned several times since the original review. Always exceeds expectations..

Friendly staff and excellent service. And oh my goodness, beyond exceptional food. Had the crispy pork belly with miso and apple purée, lamb backstrap with celeriac purée and pomegranate jus and the fig crème brûlée. It all was sublime! Can’t wait to go back, maybe to try something new, or to revel in the divine bliss of that lamb!

What a hidden gem... The photos speak for themselves. There was a group of 12 of us and it was all brilliantly managed.
Some great wines as well and the service team looked after us excellently.
Travelling with the Starrs gives
The beef was really tender and the chef absolutely nailed it.

What a find. From the moment our large group arrived the magic started. From the automatic opening door to the smiling greeting as we arrived to being seated at the table.

The drinks menu featured local region selection which was great to taste by the glass given we are visiting from the coast.

The food was divine. I highly recommend the steak. Cooked to perfection, tender and enjoyable to the very last bite.

Leaving the best to last - the friendly service by front of house staff who would go out of their way to ensure satisfaction.

This is a place to put on your Must Try list.

Great venue the food was so good
Flavour was great had the prawns for entree and the duck for main highly highly recommend for a special occasion!
No need to go to Sydney for a special occasion anymore guys keep doing a job like this and you will become famous cowra really needed something like this !

Thankyou Ebony and James, we have just celebrated my mums 70th with our family at your Oak on Kendall, which we think is a gem, a totally amazing restaurant with a relaxed vibe. From making the reservation, to your great customer service, and amazing food, we loved it. There were 10 of us, we had combinations of starters, mains, desserts, and sides, plus drinks. Everything was beautifully presented, tasted amazing and was fairly priced. James, you're a talented chef, thankyou for making such a beautiful birthday cake too. We will 100% be coming back. It was a successful party. Thankyou.
