We had planned to stay for just one night but were so happy with the accommodation that we chose to extend our stay for 5 nights!

For A$200 a night, the hotel room had everything we needed and felt spacious with plenty of storage space.

The pools were amazing, but we did not use them much. The breakfast buffet had a very good range of food on offer, too. Highly recommended.

Stayed in a 2 Bedroom suite. Service at the counter was excellent and friendly. Allowed us to check in early. Once in the room it was found to be old and worn out, with damage to most of the furniture. The couch was so old it had holes worn into it. The carpet was coming up in several places and dirt was all over the curtains. Kids loved the great new pool area though.

Overall we were satisfied with the hotel whilst we overnighted for our international airport transfer flight. The food was satisfactory and we enjoyed some time by the pool. There were some significant stains on the carpets and the rooms a little tired. The air conditioner was loud and the pillows a little uncomfortable. Obscure layout of the lounge room and only free to air TV.

Disappointed..planned the weekend for a nice family get-together.|Check-in friendly, however confusing directions.. but easily rectified.|Reception area , pool area Cafe and bar all clean, great casual tropical atmosphere .|Up to the room we went..hmmm. |2 bedroomed apartment. First impressions..very outdated, but that's ok. |First room..overwhelming musty mouldy odour. We opened the door and hoped fresh air would help.|Sofa stained as were the curtains and carpet.|Small table with only 2 chairs for a room that could take 4.|Balcony over looking pool.. great table and seating. |Looked forward to binging on Netflix our 2nd evening..no Netflix connection. We were offered another room, which we declined at that time of the day. | The majority of staff were friendly and professional.. check out was very efficient. |We are locals .. we have always recommended this hotel. However, will not do so any further as the accommodation side is seriously outdated and questionable cleanliness. ||

Great pools and restaurants. Rooms aren’t exactly amazing but nice enough. Walking distance to the airport (very hot though and wet season can get caught in the rain like I did).
What was a bit disappointing is I called for the free shuttle to pick me up from the airport as I thought I might get caught in the rain and I waited for more than 20 minutes and still no shuttle arrived so I decided to walk. When I arrived at the hotel the shuttle was still parked not going anywhere so i told the staff about me waiting and then having to walk and they just looked at me, said ok and turned away. Found it pretty rude. No apology or anything. This was only two staff members (guys at the front desk). I’ve found most other staff members very friendly and helpful. As a hotel owner myself I found this very below par. A simple apology would have gone a long way.

The picture and other details about the room on the website is misleading, there is no pink couch in any rooms as well as those in-house movies. The pool is beautiful but you can only used it until 7pm which is ridiculous because that is the best time to go for a swim as the sun has gone down and the pool has no cover at all. The restaurant in Mercure where they serve the breakfast buffet is serving the same breakfast everyday according to their staff. My wife almost have an off honeydew melon that is served on the buffet and the supervisor doesn't seem to be happy when we complained and no genuine apology was given that you can feel from her.

Rooms are ok for the price, Typical tropics smell... the device cast function on the tv is impossible to get working, Nice poolside bar. The pool and surrounding water play area are great but not user friendly due to not being under cover (the sun burns quickly in the tropics) and then closes at seven pm, really there is no option to enjoy these great facilities. Pool is also overclorinated to compensate for the sun exposure... not pleasent.

We loved our stay here, one of best hotels in Darwin. Although would like some better gluten free options on the menu I found that lacking.
