Overall the service was great. There was a little miss communication however that was sorted quickly. The staff in the restaurant was very accommodating considering I had my son in a pram. And the cot was made for my son to sleep in. Previously it was only set up but this topped our experience at the Novotel. It was just what we needed before our big trip home. Thanks you!

Sigh NO WHERE near the airport. NO free shuttle, it’s $8 per person and regulated times in a.m. “Free shuttle” is by the Woolworths but stops running 530 pm ( Uh why —to hotel’s defence this shuttle isn’t theirs they stopped theirs post covid as no ridership to justify the cost) Taxi is near $25 or walk 48 minutes so you get idea how far away it is. Rooms very bright as in clinically lit and basic, mattress needs upgrade very soft and not supportive. Fortunately staff very friendly. Food at restaurant just passable. Not bad but def not anything I would go out of my way for. Maybe my expectations high but I travel throughout the world frequently and this location could use some ‘help’. Again, thankfully staff was very friendly.

Rooms and amenities: The hotel in itself is good. The rooms are standard: clean and functional.||The location: not as good if you think about leaving the hotel. Not possible to walk around, except for going to the DFO. Any other place you need a car as it's in the middle of highways.||The restaurant: the food in the restaurant is good and the service is great. Shout out to Giovanna from the restaurant staff (and the others too) who was extremely attentive every day during dinner and breakfast.

Quite noisy. The design funnels check in area noise to the upstairs areas and I could hear people talking nearby. But overall it was quiet enough with very little traffic noise.
Supermarket within walking distance.
Shuttle driver was wonderful.

Staff are really friendly. Rooms are nice and clean and professional. Food was to die for. I had the scotch fillet and it was amazing, everyone should try the Long Island ice tea. Really good. Awesome atmosphere . Would 100% recommend. Lots to choose from the menus.

Encountered several things that we thought should be or should have been addressed prior to our arrival.
Young man that booked us in initially failed to direct us to the correct under cover parking location.
Entered our room only to find insufficient towels in the bathroom which was quickly remedied after my wife contacted the front desk
Room pillows are way too soft even when using both failed to give adequate support.
The Restaurant staff were exceptional at dinner time. Very helpful, polite and accommodating. (the best experience of our stay).The food was delicious though a little on the pricey side. Morning Buffet breakfast was pretty much the Norm, nothing really of note.

Location is close to DFO, a short walk over. There is a Dan Murphy close by. The hotel is about a 10 minute drive, we took a taxi from the airport and it cost $38. Rooms are spacious, modern and clean, we had a view of planes coming in to land. We dined at the restaurant, food and service was good.
