They don't have too much selection on the menu so decided to try the French toast. I'm glad I did, was super fresh, light and flavoursome.

The service was super friendly and attentive as well. They have a cute outside area out the back, which doesn't have too much room but its still cute. I will be coming back 🙂

NOS Bakehouse is a charming little gem in Dutton Park. Despite the size of the cafe, it is airy and inviting, with an outdoor seating area on the side. The outdoor area looks lovely but on a hot and humid day it’s best to sit inside if there’s seating available.

I was there in December and the food was modest and tasty. Although they have streamlined their menu to focus on the sandos, desserts, and drinks. That said, the French Toast with Jap Milk Pudding and Fruits (pictured) – was an absolute WINNER.

The desserts deserve a mention, the Yuzu Basque Cheesecake and the Chocolate cake (both pictured) were enjoyable.

NOS Bakehouse is a welcome addition to the neighbourhood, and I recommend giving it a try. Let’s be kind and supportive of a local cafe who I believe is still finding its feet in a very challenging and competitive market. Personally, I look forward to watching them continue to grow and refine/add variety to their menu.

Can’t really rate the food but coffee and ice chocolate were delicious! Service was awesome. Very cute, hip little place in a nice spot catering to the local crowd. Like that it’s got a bit of a Japanese feel to it.

A friend told me about a new café that recently opened in Dutton Park, so we decided to take a stroll and check it out—just two days before their grand opening!

I was blown away by their Ume Baked Cheesecake—it’s hands down the best baked cheesecake I’ve had in Brisbane. Each bite leaves you wanting more, and you could easily finish the whole cake without feeling heavy. Their egg sandos were amazing too, with the softest bread, and all their bakery items are clearly made with love.

Don’t miss their Basque Iced Long Black and other specialty beverages—they’re absolutely worth trying!

After visiting for the first time, I had to bring my mum and another friend the second week. By the third week, my friend was so impressed that he brought his mum along too. The food and drinks are just that good, and word of mouth definitely travels!

The only downside is that it’s a bit difficult to find parking. But honestly, the experience is so worth it—keep doing what you’re doing, it’s amazing!
