I have been to this venue many times and each time I am hoping the vocal acoustics will improve. The recent ABBA and ELO experiences (July 2025) were not good. Sat in the gallery I found that the vocals were over powered by the instruments. I have previously sat in the front seats in the hall - same poor vocal sounds. It is a shame because with the ABBA group one of the ladies was crystal clear while the other was quiet. Clearly a mixing issue, as at times the vocals were louder. Perhaps the sound technicians need to move around when setting the sounds. Fortunately, the song choices were popular and the crowd were singing along, so a good night was had 🙂

Norwood Concert Hall is a beautiful 100 year old building - great concert venue- plenty of car parking options and bar facilities .
Look forward to attending more concerts there!

Beautiful venue outside, howeve poor signage inside. Horribly rude and patronising staff and uncomfortable seating. The attitude of staff would definitely make me think twice about attending again! Told to come back at an appropriate time for a concert starting at 7.30pm (it was 6.45pm). When asked what time we should come back we were told 7.30pm (in a very patronising tone). Seats so small and close together and horribly uncomfortable. Disappointing when you pay so much money for tickets

The old world charm and elegance of Victorian era Norwood town hall's concert hall brings one back to a genteel chivalric era.

The woodwork and artistry of the building and interiors is a sight to behold.

There is nothing I do not love. 5 stars!

The hall, quite ancient in its construction, was equipped with seats that lacked comfort. The sound quality left something to be desired, indicating room for improvement. Additionally, the compact folding chairs were conjoined, offering limited space for movement.the presence of my favorite singer was the sole redeeming factor that enhanced my experience.

A beautiful well maintained old Concert hall. Wooden floors and the smell of days gone by. We sat and watched a graduation ceremony with a decent sound system and lighting. The Norwood Concert Hall is located in the heart of Norwood Parade with many many shops surrounding this venue. We managed to find free on street parking close by. There were many carparks available too. There were parking restrictions everywhere, so read the signs correctly. Overall a great venue and a beautiful historic building.
