Didn't answer phone calls. However on arrival were good. Room was clean and a good size. Pleasantly surprised to see toaster and sensible mugs in room. Towels were fluffy. No hotel noise. Value for money.

Table of 8 ordered food and had to wait an hour. Understandable when busy but one meal out of the 7 came out within half hour while the rest had to wait. When the food finally arrived some of it was incorrect and two of the waitresses were rude. One came out as a surf & turf parmi but was actually ordered as a schnitzel. When told this is wrong was met with attitude and told it’s the same chicken… a parmi is not the same as a schnitzel. First time here and overall the experience was poor, won’t be returning.

I am very disappointed with the attitude of the staff here. I ordered a fish dish, and when I ate it, I noticed it still had a fishy smell. I then called the waitress and told her that the fish still smelled fishy, and politely asked if she could cook it again. When she brought the plate back, she told me, 'This fish is always fishy. Next time, eat a different fish. Don’t eat this one again,' and then walked away with an attitude. From start to finish, there wasn’t a single polite word. Is this my fault?"

A wonderful experience for lunch today.
The new renovations are magnificent and a refreshing change to what it once was.
The food was amazing and great friendly service.
However, VERY DISAPPOINTED that they don’t even bother to enforce their NO SMOKING policy and signage, especially in the front courtyard where children were using the new play equipment. Very disappointing indeed. ?
Apart from that everything else is amazing and spot on. ☺️

We went with friends to try out the new menu and see the new Reno’s Atmosphere is good. Food was ok but expensive as they charge extra if you want sides with your meal. It’s extra for each side too. My daughter and I ordered bbq parmigiana and we paid extra for that, but when they came out we got plain parmi’s . Disappointed. Won’t rush back at this stage

Awesome renovation work from the classic Northside Hotel, I’m still so used to saying “The Garri” cause it’s one of the most places I go to have lunch. Delicious steak and friendly staff, at least every staff that we came across greeted us with a smile. This is the perfect team for a well established business, keep it up guys well done. Definitely be back! Loved everything ticks all the boxes ✔️

Was impressed with the renovations. There were a lot of patrons, and a lot of staff were on duty. Some were fairly new as they seemed a little lost and had to wait for direction. The CC&Dry was disgusting. Thankfully it wasn't too expensive.
The meals however were quite small for what we all paid for. The pork belly bites were cold with a dolup of red cabbage. My barramundi was not fully cooked, and my other 2 grandson's meals left a lot to be desired.
Very disappointed, but will try again maybe in 6 months, to see if the problems have been ironed out.

Great venue, renovations are awesome, highly recommend you visit and give the 5 ways a revisit after the renos. The team are extremely awesome and friendly.
