We had a great experience working with WE Hire Northern Rivers for our wedding — they provided our tables, chairs, and cups, and were incredibly reliable and easy to work with throughout the whole process.

Communication was clear and consistent, and we really appreciated how promptly they updated quotes and invoices when we made changes to our order. The team was also fantastic in helping us choose the right furniture for our space and guest numbers, offering helpful advice that made a big difference in the flow and feel of the day.

The only feedback we’d offer is around pickup timing after the event. The collection was scheduled for 9am the following morning, which unfortunately left us very little time to prepare and repack the hire items — especially after a big wedding night! While the team was very understanding on the day, this did result in an additional cleaning fee, which could have been avoided with clearer expectations upfront.

That said, we still absolutely recommend WE Hire Northern Rivers and would happily use them again for future events. Their service, reliability, and flexibility made wedding planning so much easier, and we’re really grateful for their support.

My mum hired an urn for a party, which didn’t end up working… she was told she would get her security deposit back too. She took the urn back, told them it didn’t work and they refused to compensate her. The other employee said they had trouble with the urn before. The lady who denied my mum her deposit and compensation then chased her yelling at her all the way to her car. They also accused my mum of said abuse and flipped it all on my mum!!!! Still no compensation or even a sorry.

I recently hired a marquee for a birthday party, it was set up a few days before which gave me loads of time to prepare for the party which was fantastic!! Everything was no trouble for Greg and his team and the hire equipment was well maintained and a big hit with all of our guests, thanks for the great service 👌
