Nice place to stay for a holiday apartment in Cairns. We stayed here because we wanted a kitchenette and to be on the esplanade, and both of those boxes were ticked. The apartment we had was a bit older, but it had most everything we needed. (More toilet paper and soap would have been nice.) Staff was very friendly and the pool was super clean. (Spa was not heated, which I found odd for the winter, but this was not a deal breaker.) Very good free parking and a great location. Would definitely stay there again.

Stayed for 6 nights in Unit 6 in June 2024. Booked months ahead and requested an ocean view - had a late night self check in and were given Unit 6 on the ground floor with no view - bit disappointing. Unit was very spacious with living, dining, kitchen, good sized bedroom with walk in robe, bathroom and laundry facilities, large private patio/alfresco. Unit needs a bit of TLC, lots of dents and scratches in the walls and the bathroom door doesn't shut properly. Comfortable bed and good hot shower. Not serviced during stay. Located at the north end of The Esplanade, not far from the airport. There is some noise from aircraft taking off, quietens down at night but starts again around 6am. Approx 2km walk to Cairns main centre along the foreshore walkways. A couple of eating places nearby but most are in Cairns CBD. Secure car parking in underground carpark. Limited reception hours. Reasonable value for money.

Older unit which is ok but cleaning leaves a lot to be desired, asked for our outdoor area to be cleaned sent someone who swept it didn’t nothing else still cigarette butts on the tiled area which needs a good wash. Asked for an upgrade oh yeah we can do that for another $170 a night. Personally I would look elsewhere next time I visit Cairns do not recommend.

It is the perfect stay for a holiday in Cairns. Given the proximity to tourist attractions like the Marina (for reef cruise departures), Botanical Gardens, Aquarium, the North Cove is conveniently located.
Even if we had not gone sightseeing, my wife & I would have been happy just living there and enjoying the coffee in the balcony with a view of the Esplanade.
The pool and garden are well maintained and the apartment was spacious and airy.

We booked this apartment for a family holiday for 4 people. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment which had plenty of space, air con in each room and living room, and was stocked with all the amenities that a family would need such as a dishwasher, dryer, etc.||The apartment is about a 30 minute walk from the main area of Cairns so we needed to catch an Uber each time which wasn’t ideal. The reception hours are also limited to working hours each day. ||We did have an issue with a shower handle coming off it’s hinge and had to wait until morning to have this fixed. We could also hear people walking up and down as the complex isn’t very sound proofed.||There was a clean accessible pool which we also used. There was a clean bbq space too which would be useful for family gatherings.||Overall, we had a generally enjoyable stay but would consider staying somewhere closer to the main area if we were to visit again.

Stayed here due to not having a home to go to.
I'm over from Western Australia and staying with a friend who lost everything in the Cairns flooding.

Stayed in room 5 which is ground level so a little noisy because we share an entrance with room 4 and nobody seems to be able to close the shared door quietly.

The room is basic but has everything we needed to make us feel comfortable for our stay. (11 days)

Only one issue that's been a bit of a bother and that's the bathroom/laundry extraction fan not working so gets quite steamy in there. Water pressure isn't the best but overall this isn't a complaint at all.

Staff are all friendly too but there was an issue of not being made aware of staff coming in to do bedding as much as it's stated on the list we received at check-in.

Please be aware of your vehicle height too. The underground carpark height is 2050 so if you've got a 4wd with all the fruit you may not fit like myself but there's ample parking on the street.

Overall we have been thankful for the accommodation.

Fantastic, but

This is a wonderful hotel with wonderful staff, and I can't praise the staff enough. Very specious. The room was very clean. However, for some reason, the screen door for the balcony was on the inside and the main door leading to the balcony. The main door was sealed shut in a room with poor ventilation. As such, I had to keep the air con on all night, which I really hate, just to ventilate the place. If the screen door had been the one on the outside instead of the inside, I'd be able to open the main door instead of using the orders of magnitude more inferior option of keeping the air con running all night. Also, the air con was very noisy, so I had to turn sleep mode on and set it 10 hours+ of sleep mode operation. I was in a three bedroom apartment and the doors of all the rooms except mine could open to the balcony. I don't know why my door was sealed shut in the first place, but that's a different matter. Put the screen doors on the outside and seal them instead in the name of ventilation for the sake of everyone, including those who have to pay the power bills
