Recently stayed for 2 days on a powered site.
Beautiful swimming pool but sadly the ammenities are in desperate need of a clean. The bathrooms and showers were not cleaned during our 2 day stay and I don’t think had been cleaned for along time. The gentleman checking us in very friendly. Good location.

I recently stopped by Normanton Tourist Park to politely ask if my friend and I could take a quick shower. Unfortunately, the woman at reception responded in a very rude and unfriendly manner, immediately saying no. When we offered to pay, she told us it would cost $15 per person, which we found extremely unreasonable—especially since a shower usually costs around $4 in most campsites.

Thankfully, we then found another campsite nearby,the gufland hotel and caravan park, where the woman at the reception was incredibly kind and welcoming. She let us both shower for only $5 total, and the experience was much more pleasant.

I would not recommend Normanton Tourist Park based on how we were treated. There are much friendlier and fairer options in the area.

Room was so spacious and clean, bed was so comfortable, staff were so friendly and helpful, looking forward to my next stay!

The room was terrible. Yes they were old, which is fine but when you arrive to a stinky hot room in 40degree heat the air con takes hours to cool the small room down. They could've had it turned on prior to our arrival at least. Floors were filthy, hadn't been cleaned since who knows when & kitchen area was disgusting, along with grotty stained curtains. 1 cutlery knife, wine glass, drinking glass, teaspoon & no chopping board or sharp knife, is hardly suitable supplies for a couple in a room. Not likely to use anyhow due to unhygenic conditions of the room overall. Tv reception didn't work, |rang to have it fixed. They said they'd send someone to have a look, but they never attended. Woeful accommodation for the price. Don't stay here if you don't have to. Couldn't wait to get out of the place.

Stayed in the single rooms down the very back, didn't expect much but was still disappointed.
Rooms were filthy, dirt on floors, spiders and webs throughout room, musty wet stink in room, mould on ceiling and in toaster.

We’ve just completed a 3 nights stay in a donga at the very back of the park behind a row of 3 sets of cabins. All windows were exposed expect the bathroom which had a curtain to pull across that blocked the access of the toilet roll. Most windows weren’t fully lockable and the fly screen was able to touched with it nearly falling out. Plus, the toilet lid was completely broken and sugar ants accessed our facility and got into what dry food was available. The roads in and out of the park were very narrow as there was no specific parking for each car and their set accommodation. The pool was nice. Definitely not worth the price and will not be returning!
