If I had ignored my wife's insistance in regard to joining the Noosa Mens Shed, I would, after close to a couple of years, had about 6 less good mates. The trip has been amazing for me. From a knock about wood worker to someone that feels a lot more comfortable with timber and real machinery, I'm proud to say Im not too bad so far. There are plenty of choices for someone if they're looking for a new mate. One that can teach you a few skills. Anything you like is usually available. From Wild Bee Honey or building a Hive. Or if metalwork is more to your liking its all there. One thing my wife cant understand is why Im out of bed at 5.30 AM on the days I attend. Try learning to put your pants on again when there's somewhere to go. John Ward.
