I don't know if anyone has noticed this, but everything other than 3 things taste exactly the same. They use the same sauces for each dish and it doesn't matter what you order they taste of oyster and soy sauce.

Not sure about all the bad ratings, but pulled in off the highway and it was one of the only places open at 3pm...I ordered dish 58 (Szechuan combo) and it was easily 4 stars.
Would come back again.

Food here is trash, except for the dry noodles, which are fully covered in MSG and thus very delicious.

24 hours of violent food poisoning!!! Both entrés we're over fried, the honey prawn was inedible and the sweet and sour pork was average... Thankfully my wife had the sense to abort early and didn't suffer the same punishment that her garbage guts husband did. AVOID!

Ordered Char Kuay Teow which is charred wide flat rice noodles is sweet soy chilli sauce. Usually has bbq pork, cabbage, egg, prawns, fish cake and random Asian vegies sprouts. Topped spring onions - but that is what I expect elsewhere. I get chicken as I dislike dry bbq of noodle shops and paid $3 for extra fish cake. I had two half slices of zucchini and perhaps half a dozen carrot shreds. Lots of chicken to be fair but rather heavy on chilli and not too much other flavour. Noodles sort of smashed up mush at bottom of bowl. I felt for almost $20 I truly expect a bit better and certainly tastier. Disappointing as Yamba doesn't have a great deal of convenience food options. Would only return if particularly desperate but I can't think of when I would be so desperate for such....

My wife and I thought we would try this place out. I had honey chicken and my wife had chicken Laksa. Both of us had stomach problems after eating. Chicken tasted a bit off, at first, but ignored it, and almost finished it off. Not sure if the food just didn't set right with me or what. I don't think I'll give it a second chance tho.
