Really disappointed with this place. I have been a regular since it opened and stopped going last month due to being busy. Came back today and was so disappointed with the food and service. I don’t know what has happened.. maybe it’s new team or new manager but the staff were walking around trying to look for tables looking like they had no idea where anything is. My partners smoothie had chunks of avocado still in it and my avocado on toast had no flavour and hardly any avocado. I appreciate the team member giving me a new one but it still doesn’t look the way it use to and no flavour. Definitely not worth $50 in breakfast 🥵
The team are so different too, the girls that I use to see were so welcoming and always bring a vibe to the shop, it’s a shame it’s definitely not the same it use to be.. unfortunately I will not be going there now and just go to south bank or new stead where I know the quality in food and service will be so much better. This store needs a lot of work to do to be what Nodo actually is which is amazing food and serivce..

I’m a big fan of Nodo, but unfortunately, this location doesn't live up to the standard I’ve come to expect — which is disappointing, especially since it’s my local. The menu here is limited compared to other branches, and the items they do offer often fall short in quality.

Service is another letdown. Most of the staff seem disengaged and unapproachable, which really impacts the overall experience. It’s hard to enjoy a visit when it feels like the team would rather be anywhere else.

And honestly, if I’m paying $17 for a smoothie, I expect something exceptional — not something that feels like an afterthought.

Last week walked in & there were two girls on the counter, one long blond hair and one with long braids.

Received the dirtiest glare and look of distain, because i interrupted their goss sesh when i had politely said ‘good morning, how are you today?’ upon entry.

After ordering my take away coffee, i sat unobtrusively in a seat near the door (no other customer in there) while i waited for a seperate lady to make my coffee. Received further glares from the two on the till while they continued discussing what one of them was doing on the weekend with her boyfriend.

Customer service has a lot to be desired from these two unpleasant girls. I was made to feel very unwelcome. A deal breaker and i wont be back.

Basic manners go a long way, and they’re taking me far away from nodo.

Not that it matters, but coffee was ok.

Edit: emailed management as requested on 24/06, been weeks now with no reply. Customer service is a systemic issue, clearly.

Donut was delish as always. Had a bit of a wait for our coffee (even though it wasn’t super busy) but the staff were apologetic. But the lack of seating was a bit disappointing, because of the rain the outdoor seating was unusable and the two indoor tables were full so my partner and I were on a very small bench on the only covered outdoor bit (but you face into the cafe where there’s another table with people), which was fine but cramped so something to keep in mind 🙂

Avocado on toast is consistently good.
Service at EP need improvement.
Still feels like this store is trying to find its feet. Possibly design/setup needs take 2 to find ways to increase efficiencies for ease of use.

Staff Stella and Shanaya were just amazing. Even though lots of stuff was sold out due to Mother’s Day Stella was attending everyone with great smile and apologising for the delay etc. Shayana was making effort to finding the ingredients and offering options to prepare food. Just had a great morning. The girls just made my day . Hope they do well in their future plans. Well done NODO. Never disappoints.

Coffee is fab, food is tasty, the size is very hit and miss.
I’ve ordered the Avocado 3 times now and maybe I’m doing something wrong. Sometimes it’s so large it barely fits in the box. Other times it’s no bigger than a few bites.
Some better quality control on your serving sizes would really go a long way. I feel jibbed and I paid the same price each time.
