Great location. Booked here for something different to what we usually do when in Newcastle. Upgraded to a sea view room which was unexpected but lovely. Hotel is a bit dated but still lovely. Car park very tight but manageable if you know how to park/drive. Close to restaurants and bars, but we chose to stay in due to the wind!

Location Location Location
The Oceanside facing rooms have a most superb outlook.
Rooms are compact if having 3 people but comfortable all the same.
Bathrooms renovated at some stage really nicely and are easy to get around.
Food on premises was nice and a boutique selection of wines on offer.
We attended an extended family reunion and function on site also and this was a beautiful location and outlook highlighting a memorable day.

Great place to stay. Bed is cozy and room is great for two people. The breakfast is great value and dinner is beautiful. Enjoy a cocktail before dinner.

Great views from our room.

Would I stay here again, YES.

The hotel ticks all the boxes - exceptional location facing the beach and the Rock Pools, next door to the Lighthouse and the boardwalk; comfortable rooms with superb views - we got upgraded to a beach view room, and it was absolutely fantastic; friendly and helpful staff who absolutely made my day. Comfy beds, nicely designed bathroom, everything one might need readily available, even chairs for the balcony 🙂 Thank you very much, strongly recommend!
Small note: it's a pity that there are no fly-screens, and with moths flying around, balcony doors need to be closed at night. But with the rains that might come in unexpectedly, perhaps that's to the best!

We had a lovely stay at Noah’s with the special touch being the helpful and friendly staff and lovely views from the room. The hotel is well situated across the road from the beach and an easy walk to good restaurants and bars. The rooms are clean and well equipped but no frills. Having said that the bed was comfortable and the bathroom has a lovely sea view while showering. Overall a great option in Newcastle and we will return.

We had dinner in the restaurant on a Sunday night. Easy to get a table. The food was good, the service excellent. The views of the beach from the restaurant are very good. Only one complaint. The size of the oyster meal was a bit small. The seafood chowder was very tasty.

My oldest son and fiancé got married on Saturday at this venue.
The service was incredible.
The food was delicious, plentiful and quite a variety.
The venue was extremely clean.
All the glass on the windows viewing the beach were clean which is important being in a coastal area.
We could see into the kitchen from the foyer area and noted the kitchen was immaculately clean.
My son and his wife bought a wedding package and everything that was mentioned in the package this venue delivered on.

The only negative that we have or merely a suggestion :
The placement of the wedding cake table was too close to the windows and the couple couldn’t get behind the cake to cut it as they didn’t want to damage the cake
It was a very dark corner where the cake was being cut. And the photographers could only take photographs of their backs cutting the cake
The venue should get a spotlight or down light in that section of the room for the purpose of the bride cutting the cake.
Thank you very much for welcoming us

Noahs is a 60s hotel that looks very unspectacular. The rooms are small. But the view of the sea and the surf rolling endlessly onto Newcastle beach is simply incomparable. You are almost on top of it. I don’t know of any localised surf beach view in the world that that beats it. Throw open the sliding window doors onto the balcony and fall asleep to the soothing sound of the breakers on the sand. Magic. Of course you need a sea view room for this. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Newcastle.|The staff are nice and the food ok.
