We had an incredible 5 nights at Niramaya villas in mid October. We have traveled to many luxury hotels across the world, Niramaya really stood out for us particularly in terms of value for money. We stayed in Villa 41 (2 Bedroom) 2 adults & toddler & a baby. we requested an infinity pool & received just that. The villa was stunning, gardens were immaculate, pool a nice temperature. The villa was spacious with beautiful bathrooms, double garage with a stunning view across the little lake. It felt very private and was quiet. ||We booked direct through the hotel which included a $100 food voucher per day. |One thing to note is when travelling with young children the second bedroom is quite far from the Master bedroom. Our baby monitor range did not reach, as a result one of us had to sleep in the same room as our toddler which was fine. Also there are rainforest noises throughout the night, so if you are a light sleeper I suggest ear plugs. ||We want to thank Ranaul, he was a wonderful staff member who went over and above to make our stay memorable.||We will definitely be returning!

We spent three nights here last August for some relaxation mid way through a trip to Queensland.|The resort was beautiful and our four bedroomed luxury villa was perfect for our needs. We were a family of five and loved the layout.|We made full use of the dining credit and option for the food being delivered to our room. It was always efficient and the food was lovely.|The staff were very professional and helpful. They called us on our arrival day to let us know about a serious traffic incident and advised us of alternative routes.|We would recommend a stay here for a Port Douglas base.

We had a wonderful stay at this villa and would highly recommend it for anyone seeking a tranquil getaway. The architecture and design of the villa are stunning, with charming garden features like fountains and lily pad ponds scattered throughout. The rainforest plants surrounding the property create a serene and private atmosphere.||||The pool, while smaller than it appeared in the pictures, was deep and perfect for a refreshing plunge or a quick workout. The kitchen was well-equipped, including a miele dishwasher miele oven (although the text is all worn off and i couldn't read what's what) and barbecue. ||||The bedroom was comfortable, with ambient dim lighting that created a peaceful environment for restful sleep. Although there were no bedside tables, which was a minor inconvenience. The bathroom was equally impressive, with a luxurious shower and bathtub.||||The villa's landscaping is breathtaking, adding to the charm of the property. We were pleasantly surprised that there were no mosquitoes during our stay, though we did use insect repellent just in case.||||On the downside, the sound from the large TV echoed in the high-ceiling living room, making it a bit challenging to hear clearly. Additionally, the restaurant on-site only operates from Friday to Sunday, with room service available on other days for an extra fee. However, the convenience of having Coles and IGA just a 10-minute drive away made self-catering an easy option. ||||The washing machine and dryer were also a huge plus, especially in the humid Port Douglas climate.||||Especially because we went on a weekday and booked early we got a good price for the rooms. If you get the rooms at a full price you may feel that it is a rather expensive stay. ||||There was a wasp nest greeting us next to the garage switch as we were walking into the villa. A photo is attached. This kind of experience lowers the value of an accommodation. Had we paid more we would be not annoyed.||||Overall, this villa offers a perfect blend of luxury, nature, and convenience. Despite a few minor drawbacks, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return!

We had a wonderful stay and the photos are a true reflection of the resort. Our 3 bed villa was spacious for our family. The landscape is great, very tropical and you feel like you are in Bali. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Even though it’s out of central Port Douglas it was an easy quick drive or shuttle bus. We will be back!

4 beroom and 3 bedroom villas worked well for our extended family of 13 adults and kids. Villas are well furnished, maintained and staff helpful and friendly. Full kitchen and facilities if you want to eat in your villas and just use your private pool. Having young children though rooms are not connecting but close. Shuttles to Port Douglas are readily available but it is 5-10 minutes out so a car is a good option if you are getting around. There is a garage. Santi restaurant is good enough and accommodating. Those that used the spa were impressed.

A beautiful place to stay, the garden and surroundings are so well maintained by the very friendly garden and maintenance staff.
The staff here are absolutely wonderful especially the front desk staff.
Food is excellent too but overpriced to have breakfast in your villa delivered.
My only criticism is that we signed up for peace and tranquillity which we definitely got until a family of loud children moved in next door which totally changed the atmosphere for us, it would be perfect here as adults only so you can really relax!

Had an amazing time at Niramaya. The villas are fantastic and the added bonus of the plunge pool just made it so easy with the kids. We would rotate between our pool and the larger one during the day. I also want to call out Pauline at reception for her service.

The villa was one of the best places we have ever stayed - so peaceful and stunning. Perfect for a getaway with our toddler. The plunge pool was perfect for cooling off, the large spaces both internally and externally - the villa was HUGE. Well stocked kitchen with all the essentials (heaps of utensils, pots and pans etc). Staff are lovely and the service was great. The on site restaurant Santi was great and with a toddler we ended up getting a lot of room service and the food was delicious and delivered so fast and fresh.
