We were recommended Nimbo Fork Lodge by discerning friends and share their enthusiasm wholeheartedly. A beautiful time of year to enjoy the stunning surroundings, and we could not have faulted the service from everyone. The cottages were light and airy with a private view over the creek. The food at the Three Blue Ducks was tremendous and the wine list incorporated some fantastic local vineyards. We are already planning our visit next year.

We visited for an anniversary escape weekend and could not have been more pleased with the accommodation (lodge room #8) and the sensational meals available at the Three Blue Ducks. Wait staff Harry and Ashley went above and beyond with their professionalism food knowledge and wine pairing recommendations and should defiantly be commended, after dinning there over three consecutive meals I have to thank Franco the Chef for the beautifully presented dishes with a unique balance of flavors showcasing the produce of the area. (we indulged on one occasion with the Chefs selection and wine pairing, a must try)|Jemma at front of house was so helpful and accommodating with the booking ensuring that all requests were met. Thank you all, we will be returning.

We booked a Father's Day special lunch, for two adults and one child. The food was delicious and beyond what we expected, as always! Incredibly well priced and the take-home gift was a pleasant surprise! The staff were friendly and professional, plus they catered to our daughter (7 years old) so well, with child-friendly roasts and desserts. Not many fine-dining restaurants cater to children, but this was perfect - thank you!

We went here to relax and recharge which is exactly what happened. Our view of the flowing river, great service, a scenic river walk and a very comfortable bed made it easy to unwind. The space between each lodge is something that I really liked, it gives much more privacy than a balcony motel unit. We will definitely be back on a regular basis.

Lovely, quaint accomodation staying in the Lodge. Dinner was superb with much larger portions than we expected. Service in all areas was very good with very friendly staff who were only interested in our enjoyment.||Room was comfortable with a large bathroom & in our case a great outlook over the running river below the lodge.

Wonderful venue and scenery. We had the Sunday roast as we had had it last winter.. yesterday was a bit disappointing as the roast beef was overcooked and the Yorkshire pudding wasn’t available because the mix hadn’t worked. not sure I like red cabbage with a roast but the potatoes and other vegetables were nice. Staff are very pleasant and sitting near the fire was superb.. it is a classy restaurant. Be prepared to pay $30 for a glass of wine of 250 mils.. the drive through the beautiful rolling Hills is well worth it.

Best location, beautiful vibe & food - so much to see & do in the area so worth staying a couple of days. We stayed inside the lodge with river views - great value. So much food with the set menu we took our dessert back to our room to have the next day. Treat yourself !

Exceptional experience. Stayed 2 nights in the Tumut lodge,|which was large for us two fatties, beautifully decorated, great views over the river, just delightful.|Food experience was delicious. First night the degustation, second night al la carte, go the pork but the whole trout was sublime. We will be back for the trout season
