We booked one room for 2 nights. The first room we were assigned obviously hadn't been used for a while as there were cobwebs, dust, the floor was dirty and there was insect activity by the bedside table, the extractor fan in the bathroom was full of dust. After we brought the above to the attention of the Duty Manager we were assigned another room. Then we were asked if we could return to the premises between 10am and 2pm the following day to move to another room because the second room we'd been assigned to was actually booked for the following 3 days, so we couldn't stay in it. However the Duty Manager would come to see us at 9am the following day to let us know what would happen. At 10.30 we found her, she said 'oh yes, I forgot'. We were transferred to another room. It was probably their 'Premium Room'.
In all 3 of the rooms we visited there was dust, dusty extractor fans, peeling ceilings, broken toilet roll holders and, in the last room we were in, the cover was missing off the heat lamp in the bathroom and the toilet roll holder was on the bathroom sink meaning the only place for the toilet roll was the top of the bathroom bin and there was no towel rail.

I stay at this hotel because it’s convenient, the price is reasonable and it’s near where I want to be. The staff is pleasant. The rooms are basic but clean. The bed is not the most comfortable but the shower water is hot. The food at the bistro is nice and reasonably priced. The barramundi is well cooked.

Picked the Nightcap at Jamison Hotel due to price and location.
We pulled up at the hotel and were worried that we'd hear everything but the room we stayed in we had no issues and it was nice.
Beds were soft which isn't my preference but everything was clean and fresh.
Little fridge and kettle, air conditioner. Everything we needed for 1 night.
The lights in the hallway were bright and do light up the room quite a bit.

We spontaneously decided to stay at Penrith a couple more nights after a nights stay elsewhere with more family.
Nightcap at Jamison was great, and even though it's a tavern you don't hear anything from the actual tavern itself.
The room was clean and the beds were so comfy. Our little girl had the time of her life in a single bed all to herself, right next to her mummy and daddy.
The housekeeping staff were so helpful and accommodating.
The tavern was nicely placed, just out of the hub bub of Penrith, but not out of the way for major shops, clubs, cafes and restaurants.

Bed was extremely uncomfortable, was kept awake by noise from the hotel patrons. Room was clean and the shower was hot. Wont be staying there ever again would rather sleep in my car. Would have given a negative -5 if I could.

The worst hotel I’ve seen in Australia.
I've attached the photos with a “view” from the room.
It's nothing like a hotel, it's the back of the pub. They charged us 163$ for 1 night‍♀️
No windows in the “bedroom”
We booked 1 night and decided to just drive to Sydney instead and lose money.
Old, smelly and overpriced.
Please choose something else.

Way under described, small cold basic rooms... very noisy and rooms are next to poker machines which we could hear until 4am. Way over priced.

if i could give a worse review i would.
0 STARS.
My staff stayed here as a stopover.
Firstly, rooms look nothing like the rooms advertised. where they are advertised it doesnt make any reference to the fact it is infact a pub, that even on a tuesday night, is EXTREMELY loud and roudy til closing time.
I had two staff in two rooms. the first room, there was an attempted break in during the night.
the second guy had his ute broken into and 2k worth of belongings stolen. the ute was parked on their property. The property has neither cameras or lights where the guests are to park their cars. just cameras leaving at the main exit.
when the break in was brought up with reception in the morning, my staff member was met with dismissive staff and rather that trying to offer some compensation (even kite the night for him) he was met with. Call the police. that's it.
further to this, as i book all their travel, i pay in advance to elevate costs to staff. Nothing changed with this booking. i paid booking.com as i always do. then when the boys checked out, they were told the rooms had in fact not been paid for, (which i provided the boys with a receipt) and they were told they needed to pay again.
Unprofessional, lacking customer service skills and overpriced for what it is.
spend your money and stay at one of the many other establishments in penrith.
