This motel is in a really convenient spot, with both the Edge Hill Tavern and a McDonalds next door.

Service has been a bit slow. It seems like they're understaffed tonight.

However, the room itself is perfect. Everything is clean and new - seems like it was remodelled recently. The bed is also one of the most comfortable I've ever had in a motel. Usually motel beds are hard as a rock, but this one is as soft as my bed at home.

Each room has a parking space outside the front door, which are mostly hidden from view of the road outside.

The air conditioner is cold and very appreciated in the summer heat.

I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Cairns.

The room I had was very clean and comfortable. Staff were accommodating and lovely to chat with. It's walking distance from the botanical garden which was great fun to explore. Would definitely stay again

The room was nice & tidy! Very clean! Nice, bright room. Free parking right in front of my room. They even had a spare space to park additional cars! The bed was so comfy too! Polite staff - customer service was very attentive. We also had dinner delivered to our room, 5 stars for the food, I highly recommend the pork spare ribs!

Very clean. Recent facelift. Comfortable bed. Very reasonably priced. Expect a motel style with a new look. Pub menu available in the room via phone. Food was excellent and brought directly to the room. The only downside would be a lack of natural light, the only curtain are at the front door and if you open them then everyone can see in. Having said that if the room is just for sleeping it's perfect with blackout curtains. I'd go back for sure.

Rooms are pretty good, clean and modern bed is comfy and air con compliments the whole space in the room. However the price you pay here you could stay at a serviced apartment. LCD plasmas mounted on walls with Netflix and I guess that’s really only the “extras” your paying for. Breakfast included is one in a small container box so do not expect anything hot and fancy. I find the service good, checking in has never been a problem. It is a cute lil get away however comes at a price.

If you would like a comfortable bed and clean rooms this is the place to go .
I stay here for work and would recommend highly , close to laundromat, mcdonalds, kebabs , pizza , gym , and Thai food .
Also there is a local iga there and 2 bottle shops .
If you are staying with a family there is room 11 which has 3 bedrooms and kitchen and lounge area .
There is also on-site parking which is fully surveillanced.
100% would recommend a stay , prices are very reasonable aswel .
