This place is incredible. The blueberry and chocolate muffin is unbelievable. Totally have to go and get one. Coffee is sensational too and the best I’ve had in Tassie so far. Plus the staff are super friendly and appropriately chatty. It was a really great experience and I’d encourage everyone to go and enjoy.

Love this place - the best of Hobart’s quirky inner city. Great coffee and a really great decor. Heaps of good imagination has created a cosy interior with great seating in a compact space. Staff were great and the place was busy but not overwhelming.

Next door's coffee is the thing dream's are made of from the moment that warm smooth great strength liquid hits your lips. Opens at 7am which is awesome, my favourite naughty from there is the rocky road its to die for.

Good atmosphere and vibe, but coffee is extremely sour (and has been every time I tried it over some years). I dare say that nobody is actually tasting a coffee (that isn't 80% milk) to know and fix this. Your grind is too coarse. Fix it.

Great little spot, staff were super kind & friendly. Partner got a caramel milkshake which was nice, I only got bottled juice so cannot comment on their particular food-making skills! Would definitely recommend for a quick drink

I come here at 07:30 every weekday before work, before the morning rush so am always able to get a seat.
Obviously I think the coffee is great. Lovely owners, great service and the music is always fantastic. Egg and bacon muffins are excellent.

Visiting from Canada, looking for good coffee and found it at Next Door, just around the corner from my hotel, the Astor. Superb coffee. Friendly folk, and I liked their little seating nook. Got into interesting conversations with others who came in.
