Room 26 was a little damp and musty but aired out ok with doors open. It was comfortable and simple dated room. Reflected by the price. Staff were great and location was good. Lots of nice food nearby

I enjoyed our stay, we even ended up booking another night. The rooms are a little small but this is to be expected with the price. The bathrooms and rooms are cleaned daily and they also provide shampoo, conditioner and soap in the showers. They are shared bathrooms but with them being cleaned everyday there have been no issues.

When we first arrived our air conditioner shot our ice at us which was kind of funny. We let them know and they switched us to another room as quick as possible. The rooms and bathrooms were cleaned each day and although the room was small we had a sink, tv, and mini fridge in our room.

We loved our stay at this hotel so much the first time that we came back. We ended up staying 3 nights at another place and didn’t really enjoy it so we decided to come back to this place. Also very close to the train and local parks.

Basic and nice but everything you need when you just need a place to crash and stay. Nothing fancy but it worked for us and gave a comfy bed and bathroom pretty close and cheap in Newtown. The staff were very friendly and even the people staying there were nice. Not a bad place for what your paying. Felt very safe with swipe key access. Some street noise, but that is to be expected in a prime location such as this.

Room was clean, although a little bit outdated. I would leave in the morning and won’t get back until the evening. Towels were replaced and bed was made when I returned. I requested to be placed in a room with windows/balcony (for natural light) and this request was accommodated. They don’t have a lift/elevator though. This wasn’t a problem for me as my bags were light enough but do keep this in mind. Bathrooms are also cleaned once a day, which is good but hopefully people from neighboring rooms keep it clean as well. Overall pretty good value hotel to stay at if you’re on a budget :))

A very nice budget hotel! Perfectly clean, comfortable beds, unobtrusive turndown service. The bathroom was slightly dilapidated, but not to the point of being unusable. Walking distance to the train station through a cool, buzzy neighbourhood. What really stood out was the really incredible staff. Diana at the reception made our stay completely stress free- she was an absolute angel, very accomodating and lovely to chat to. Would recommend for the budget traveller.

Feel like I was robbed. We did not get our "key deposit" back in full because we consumed two bottles of water in the fridge. However, it was not written anywhere that there was a charge (two photos to prove it) so we kindly asked the man who took care of us if it was normal to charge without warning in advance. he insisted on keeping us 10 dollars, and took it without giving us a choice (our deposit had been deposited in cash). We think this is not fair, it seems like theft. We took photos of the place which clearly show that there is no written statement stating that drinks were chargeable.
